Felicity's P.O.V.

I'm coming over. Make me food when I get there 😜

When I read Lexi's text, my eyes widened. Lexi hasn't talked to, or texted, me much since Zayn and the rest of the boys left. I realized she was still looking for an answer, and typed a quick reply, going to see what I had for food.

Kay ☺️

Eventually, I found some mini pizzas, and decided they would do, before throwing four of them in the oven, as I was kind of hungry too.

A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door, and I felt myself getting nervous. Why am I nervous? It's just Lexi... yes, Lexi who hasn't talked to you hardly at all for over a month...

I shook the thought out of my head, going to answer the door. I opened it, and stepped aside to let her in. She headed straight to the kitchen, and I followed her, although hesitantly.

"Um," I said, as soon as I walked in, "hot chocolate?" I knew she wasn't much of a tea drinker, and it seems my automatic response when someone makes me feel uncomfortable is to make hot beverages. What a weird habit...

"Uhm, yeah, sure," she said, sitting down at the table. I started the kettle, and added hot chocolate mix to a mug, adding a teabag and sugar in another one. Just as I finished that, the oven beeped, signalling that the mini pizzas were done.

I grabbed to plates, grabbing the pizzas afterwards, putting two on each plate, handing Lexi her's and sitting down with mine. We sat there awkwardly eating our pizza until the kettle went off. I got up to pour the water, noticing Lexi was finished and looking around awkwardly. "There's more in the freezer if you're still hungry," I told her, knowing she probably still was.

Turns out I was right, because she got up, immediately heading to the freezer in search of the mini pizzas. She found them and put them in the microwave, just as I finished making her hot chocolate.

We sat there awkwardly while my tea steeped for forever. I finally decided it had steeped long enough, added my hardly-there amount of milk, and went back to the table. As soon as I sat back down, the awkwardness continued. Finally, it got to be too much, "this is wrong," I blurted, "we aren't supposed to be awkward. We aren't supposed to go over a month without talking to each other. This is not how our friendship is supposed to work."

"You're right," Lexi sighed, "I'm sorry-" She was about to continue, but I cut her off.

"Wait. Call Katrish. She's a part of this too. I'd call her myself, but she might no come as willingly if I do..." I trailed off.

"What? Why not?" Lexi asked, suddenly worried.

"Uh, some stuff happened..." I looked down at the table.

"What stuff?" She asked sternly, which was weird, because usually, out of the three of us, I was the one who had to be stern about certain things.

"Stuff like I blew up at her for not visiting me, and about how everyone liked Clarissa better than me, and that no one cared about my feelings..." I said, still staring at the table.

"Felicity..." she said, still sounding stern, and possibly slightly angry now.

"I'm sorry?" I said, as more of a question. She slapped my shoulder. Hard. And I winced, reaching up to nurse my poor, injured body. "Ow, Lexi!" I shouted.

"What did we tell you about keeping stuff like that to yourself?" She asked, not bothering to apologize

"Not to do it..." I muttered like a chastised child.
