Chris' P.O.V.
I was sitting watching everyone dance awkwardly. Apparently Felicity decided I didn't need a partner. I glared at her playfully from across the room, but she wasn't paying attention. Her and Niall are cute though, I'll give them that.

I continued to look at everyone, feeling lonely. This is kind of creepy, I thought, staring at everyone... eh, oh well. I have nothing better to do.

All of a sudden, there was movement that caught my eye on the corner of the room. I turned my head to see what it was, seeing Harry, Eva, and some other guy.

It looked like there was a bit of a mix up with the dates. I could tell that this other guy was supposed to be Eva's date, and was probably pissed that she was dancing with someone else.

Not that this is any of my business, but in her defense, he was late. He had to have just gotten here, because he wasn't here before now. I would have noticed him, as I've been sitting here staring at everyone all night.

It seemed like no one else noticed that this was going on, as everyone else was still dancing. Too wrapped up in each other to notice, apparently.

I looked back and seen Harry standing in the corner alone. I also heard the front door slam shut. Well... That happened.

I looked around again to see everyone still dancing because another slow song came on. Are you serious? I'm done with this.

I walked over to the DJ stand and changed the song to an upbeat one. I seen everyone come back to reality and out of their own worlds. Finally!

I went and sat back down and stared at more people. At least I didn't feel so lonely anymore. I sat there lonely for a little while, but then I got hungry, so I went to find Felicity.

After I found her, I poked her until she turned and looked at me. "I'm hungry," I whined.

"Well then make food," she replied.
"But I don't wanna."
"Sucks for you."
"But I'm hungry."
"Then make food."
"What do you have?"
"I don't know, go look."
"But that's just so much work."
"Then sucks for you."

I grabbed her arm and dragged her to the kitchen anyways. She looked at me, annoyed. "I want food," I said to her simply. "And now you're here, so you can make it," I to her smartly. She sighed in annoyance and looked at me.

"Well, what do you want?" She asked.
"I don't know, what do you have?"
"Lots of stuff."
"Stop being a smartass."
"How about pizza?"
"Pizza sounds good."

She made me my pizza and then left. I sat in the kitchen silently, eating my pizza and looking around.

All of a sudden, someone walked in behind me. I turned and seen Harry. "Hello," he said, sitting next to me.

"Hi," I said awkwardly, slowly continuing to eat my pizza. He was looking at me. "What?" I asked him, still awkward.

"Nothing..." He trailed off. He was obviously lying, but whatever. "You don't like me much, do you?" He questioned.

"Nope," I replied simply.
"Well, why not?" He asked.
"Because I don't. Do I need a reason?"
"Yes."
"Why?"
"Because you can't just not like someone for no reason."
"Yes I can. And I will."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Why do you not like me?"
"Because I don't like bands. They annoy me."
"So, you're gonna dislike me because of that?"
"Yep."
"That's not fair."
"Life's not fair."
"Well can you at least try to like me?"
"Why?"
"Because you seem like a cool person."
"I do?"
"Yes. And I kind of wanna get to know you."
"Well I can't get to know you if you don't tell me anything."
"What do you mean?"

"I mean we're going to get to know each other, so start talking," I said to him, "before I change my mind."

"Ok, ok. So, what do you wanna know?"
"How old are you?"
"21"
"What's your favorite colour?"
"I have two. Orange and blue."
"Favourite food?"
"Lasagna."
"Best friend?"
"Louis Tomlinson."
"In a relationship?"
"No."
"Favorite song of yours?"
"Little Things."
"Siblings?"
"My sister Gemma."
"Biggest secret?"
"We just started talking, I'm not gonna tell you that."
"Fine then."
"Ok, it's my turn. What's your age?"
"18."
"Favourite colour?"
"Rainbow colors."
"Fair enough. Ok, favorite food?"
"I don't really have one."
"Best friend?"
"Felicity."
"Siblings?"
"I have plenty."
"In a relationship?"
"Nope."
"Sexuality?"
"I'm bisexual."
"Hobbies?"
"I sing, draw, and write books."
"Will you dance with me?"
"That doesn't count as a question."
"Yes it does."
"It doesn't count as a twenty questions question."
"Fair enough. But I still want an answer."
"The answer is no."
"Awe, why not?"
"Because."
"Because why?"
"Just because."
"Because why?"
"Because... because... I actually don't have a good excuse."
"Dance with me."
"Why?"
"Because you look lonely."
"And you got ditched."
"That's not why I wanna dance with you."
"Isn't it?"
"No it isn't. She was boring anyways."
"Fine."
"But why not? Wait, what?"
"I said, fine."
"Really?"

"Yes. Now take my hand and dance with me before I change my mind." And that's exactly what he did. He took my hand and took me to the dance floor.

And, coincidently, just then, a slow song came on. I looked up to see Felicity standing there, giving me a thumbs up.

I internally sighed in annoyance.  Harry looked at me, seemingly looking for something, I just didn't know what.

He was still looking at me, and then he started talking, "Are you still ok with this?" He asked nicely. I looked at him confused. "You said you would dance with me, but I don't know if you're comfortable with a slow dance." He clarified.

I thought about it for a moment. "I don't know if I'm comfortable with it either." I told him, honestly.

"Well, we could try..." He suggested, almost hopefully?  I looked at him for a couple seconds, thinking.

I nodded at him silently and hesitantly. He slowly and carefully walked closer to me. I stood there, very still. Moving as little as possible.

Then, he was close enough that I could see the bright green colour of his eyes. I felt hands on my waist. I froze. He looked at me, a question in his eyes. "Is this ok?" I slowly unfroze, and my hands, apparently having a mind of their own, ended up on his shoulders.

My heart was racing. I  couldn't tell whether it was from fear or excitement, but my heart was beating so loud, I wondered if it was just happening in my head.

Just then I noticed that we had started swaying a little bit. I took deep breaths, trying to stay calm. After a while, I realized that I wasn't as nervous anymore. I started to finally relax, just when the song ended.

I pulled away and looked at him. "Thank you," I said simply, then started walking away. I turned around, just before I left the room. I seen he was still looking at me. "I still don't like you," I called to him, and walked back to the kitchen.

The last thing I remember was thinking  I can't believe I just did that...
