Niall's P.O.V.
It's been a few days since Felicity stopped talking to me. I'm slowly going nuts. I've tried talking to her, but she won't listen. She walks out of the room as soon as I try, Cadence following her. I don't like him...
I've also tried texting her, calling her and leaving a voicemail, because she doesn't answer the calls. She refuses to acknowledge that I'm trying here.
Unless there's a certain way that she wants me to apologize. Hmm... I went looking for Katrish.
I found her in the backyard with Liam. Surprise, surprise, they were kissing. Again. I swear that's all they do. "Hey, Katrish!" I yelled at her. She ignored me.
I called her name louder. Still no reaction. I tried a different approach. "Katrish, Katrish, Katrish, Katrish, Katrish," she finally detached herself from Liam and glared at me. "What?!" She asked me, annoyed, walking towards me.
"I need your help," was my simple reply.
"My help? With what?" She asked.
"With Felicity."
"What about her?"
"I'm really sorry and she won't listen to me when I try to tell her that."
"Ok, so what do you want me to do?"
"How can I make her listen?"
"Have you tried talking to her?"
"Yes!"
"Ok, geez. Calm down."
"Sorry, this is just freaking me out."
"It's fine, I get it."
"Ok, have you tried texting her?"
"Yes."
"Calling her?"
"Yes."
"Singing to her?"
"Y- no, actually."
"Try that."
"It's kind of hard with Cadence around."
"Actually, lucky for you, she left for the auditorium alone about an hour ago."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Cool. Thanks."
"No problem.""By the way, you guys are adorkable," I said to her, gesturing between her and Liam. Felicity's funny words are rubbing off on me...
"Thanks," she said, blushing. I was about to walk away when she called my name.
"Yeah?" I asked her.
"Personally, I'm rooting for you, not Cadence.""Really? Thanks, that means a lot. I need a little confidence boost right now," I told her honestly.
"Yeah, I know," she said, "now go get your girl back," she said, making a shooing motion with her hands. I smiled at her, and left.
While I was walking, I was trying to think of a song to sing to make her understand.
Hmm, I need one that will get her attention. It wold also be helpful if it pointed out everything I liked about her... I got it! Our song. 'Everything About You,' is perfect. But then the thought hit me that that song didn't really fit the situation.
I continued walking, eventually making it to the auditorium. I could hear music from inside, and walked in quietly, unnoticed. When I walked around the corner, I also heard someone singing. Someone with a beautiful voice. Felicity's voice.
I listened closer, trying to find out what song she was singing. It was a song I didn't know, but I tried to focus on the lyrics.
"Nobody knows you better than I do. I keep my promises, I'm fighting for you. You're not alone, I'll listen till your tears give out. You're safe and sound, I swear that I won't let you down. What's hurting you, I, I feel it too. I mean it when I say when you cry, I cry with you."
I walked further into the room. I noticed a microphone sitting on the grand piano, just inside the door. I picked it up and kept walking, following her voice.
I walked around a final corner and seen her sitting on the edge of some sort of makeshift stage, holding a guitar. She wasn't singing anymore, so I assumed she was finished the song. I stood there silently for a few more minutes, just to be sure. In those few minutes, the perfect song popped into my head.
