Bad Vibes

I was heading to the park the next day. I was supposed to meet Lexi and Felicity there, but Felicity cancelled, with a text saying, 'Sorry, can't come today. SKS warning.'

I understood, telling her, 'ok' and letting Lexi know. Felicity usually texted me, as I answered quicker. Lexi took ages to answer. She never seemed to check her phone.

'SKS warning' is our secret code for period. It made us feel like secret agents or something.

I was waiting for Lexi, when two figures approached. One was Lexi, the other was a girl I didn't know. I looked at Lexi curiously when she approached, wondering who this girl was.

"Hey, Katrish. I hope you don't mind; this is Amber. She's new in town, so I'm kind of showing her around," she explained to me. There wasn't really a problem with that, Lexi was always trying to help people.

"No, that's fine," I told her.

"Would you mind if we actually walked around town instead of sitting at the park," Lexi asked. I kind of did, because we always sat at the park, but I guess a change was good every once in a while.

"No, of course not," I told her.

"Ok, Amber, Let's go," Lexi said to her. Well, that kind of hurt, but it was nothing I couldn't get over.

We walked around town, Lexi showing Amber everything, and almost completely ignoring me. After about an hour or two of walking around, I was starting to get a bad feeling about this Amber girl.

I tend to get these feeling sometimes. Just random bad feelings that lead me to not like people. And about 90% of the time, I'm right.

Felicity is pretty good at reading people too. Hmm... that gave me an idea. once 'we' finished showing Amber around, we stopped at the ice cream parlour in town for ice cream.

Lexi bought one for herself and Amber, and asked if I was getting anything. I told her no, as I had no money, so she and Amber went over to get theirs. That stung a bit too. She just met this girl, and is already buying her food.

Once they finished their ice cream, I had a suggestion, "Lexi, can we go see how Felicity's doing? She sent me an 'SKS warning' text this morning."

Lexi agreed, "sure, but can Amber come too?"

"Yeah, sure I guess," I told her, not meaning it. I didn't want her to come with us. But, regardless, I didn't want Lexi mad at me, so off we went. All three of us, I thought grumpily to myself.

When we got to Felicity's house, I knocked on the door. Liam answered. I grinned at him, pecking him in the lips, and he let us in. "Liam, this is Amber," Lexi introduced.

I stood there looking at Amber to see her reaction. She seemed indifferent. So, either she had no clue who he was, or she was a fan that's a really good actress.

"Hey, cuddle bear," I said to him. He looked at me funny. "That is your new nickname, your argument is invalid," I told him, sticking my tongue out at him. "Ok," he said nonchalantly.

I grinned triumphantly and kissed him again. He smile at me, "is Felicity here?" I asked him.

"Yeah, but I think her and Niall are napping," he told me. I nodded, heading upstairs to find her. "Lexi, you and Amber stay here. I'll go get Felicity," I told them. No way in hell was she coming up here.

When I got to Felicity's room, I knocked lightly on the door. There was no answer, so I slowly pushed the door open, walking inside.

Awe, was my first thought walking in. Niall and Felicity were curled up together on the bed. They were spooning, Niall playing the role of the big spoon. They were facing me, so I noticed that his hand was in her tummy. No fucking way. He is rubbing her tummy to help with her cramps. Lucky bitch.
