Surprise!!

Felicity's P.O.V.
It's been about a week since the girls won Battle of the Bands, and it's been a rough one. Clarissa's been having a tough time acting strong, when she knows I can see right through her.

Chris was a bit annoyed at me now, too. We had forgotten about him again when we woke up late for the BotB, because when we got home, he was still sleeping. Eventually, he did find out that we had left him there, and he hasn't spoken to me much since.

So, it's just this great big emotional roller coaster this week. Even Zayn's involved. He's been feeling really homesick again. He isn't used to being away from his family and the boys for so long. Usually he's with one or the other, and I don't think he feels as comfortable here yet as he does with them, but we're working on it.

On the bright side, today the rest of the band are coming to stay for a couple weeks, so that should lift all of our spirits a little. Of course, I'm the only one who knows about it, but maybe the surprise itself will help them as well.

I need to get them out of the house somehow... Aha! "Clarissa!" I called up the stairs.

"Yes?" She called down gloomily.
"Can you do me a huge favour please?"
"Depends on the favour.."
"We need more pasta, could you go to the store and buy some please?"
"Do I have to?"
"Yes."
"Fine then."

"Ok, thanks. Oh! And take Zayn with you. You both need to get outside and leave the house. You've been hiding out inside all week."

"Ok, ok. Anything else?"
"Nope."
"Fine, we'll be down in a minute."
"Kay!"

Yes! The plan is in motion. Basically, the plan is to send the two of them somewhere besides here, so the surprise isn't ruined. I'm kind of just praying that the others will get here before they get back, otherwise this is pointless. Well, not entirely. We do need more pasta.

I heard their footsteps coming downstairs and they were both grumbling like I was trying to make them clean the house or something.

"We'll be back!" Clarissa called grumpily over her shoulder.

"Ok, love you both!"
"Yeah, love you too," they both said.

After they were gone, I stood at the window for a couple minutes making sure they were gone, I relaxed. While I wait for them to get back or the boys to get here, I think I'm just gonna read for a little while. I curled up in an armchair and lost myself in the world of 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.'

About half an hour later, I heard a knock on the door. Well, Clarissa and Zayn wouldn't knock, so... Ohmygosh! The boys are here! I had to wait a few minutes before opening the door, so I could compose myself.

Finally, I walked over to the door and smiled at the four men standing on my doorstep. I smiled and gestured for them to come in. They all walked in. Louis first, followed by Liam, then Niall, and Harry last. I quickly closed the door behind them after making sure Clarissa and Zayn were still not back.

I gave them all a once over and realized none of them had any luggage. I must have voiced this out loud, because, just then Liam said, "Oh, right! Sorry, we forgot to grab it.." He blushed a little bit in embarrassment.

"That's alright," I smiled at him reassuringly. "You're probably excited."
So, we all went outside and I helped them with their luggage.

I lead them to the two spare bedrooms we had, which used to my adopted parents' room and the study, before I converted them into temporary spare rooms. I converted them into bedrooms because they just seemed so empty without my parents being here. Clarissa and I never used the study or the room, so I figured we'd make better use of the space.
