Felicity's P.O.V.

Today was the day. Clarissa was leaving for her tour. I really wanted to be happy for her, but it was difficult. She was leaving for six months, and the house will be even more empty. I'll probably mope the whole time, because even a book wouldn't be able to distract me at this point.

I heard footsteps coming down the stairs, actually, a more accurate description would be stomps, not footsteps, and took a deep breath, trying to keep myself together. You need to be happy for her. She's finally getting somewhere with her dream. Stop being selfish, and fake a smile for her.

I took one last deep breath, before pasting a smile on my face, and going to greet her at the bottom of the stairs. When I got there, she had a suitcase in each hand, and was trying to balance her carry-on bag on top. "Morning. Do you need help with your suitcases?" I asked her helpfully, laughing at her. She nodded, grinning gratefully, and I helped her safely set down the suitcases and carry-on, before following her back upstairs to get the rest of them.

We ended up having to make three more trips, each taking two suitcases at a time, because apparently Clarissa needs eight bags to fit all of her clothes in. I, personally, think the main reason for that is the fact that she doesn't fold her clothes. She probably didn't fold any of them, and just shoved her clothes into them. And people wonder why I'm OCD...

There was a knock on the door, and I went to answer it, seeing Chris, Katrish, Lexi, and Carol-Ann standing there. I hugged them all hello, and they went to say hi to Clarissa in the kitchen. I closed the door, turning to head to the kitchen myself, when there was another knock on the door. I spun back around on my heel, and opened the door again, to see Ellie, Mel, Eva, and Gabby. I let them in as well, them also beelining for the kitchen. I was heading for the kitchen again, when there was a third knock on the door. I glared at it for a moment, before realizing I should probably open it. I did so, seeing Tyler, Taylor, Drew, Devin, and Carter. I let them in too, and closed the door, preparing to turn.

I swear. If one more person knocks on that door when I turn around, I am going to scream. I slowly turned around, keeping an eye on the door as I did, and grinned in triumph when I made it all the way around without another knock. Spoke too soon, I grumbled mentally when the phone rang. I glared at the device on the wall, before walking over and answering it with a slight bit of attitude. "Hello," I asked rudely.

"Hi, baby girl," I immediately regretted my original tone, when my adopted mother's voice travelled down the line.

"Oh, hi Spring," I said to her, really sweetly, hoping she'd ignore my original attitude,"how has your trip been?"

"It's been fine, Sweetie, but we're going to have to stay for a little while longer," she told me.

"Oh, ok. That's fine. Why do you need to stay?" I asked her curiously.

"Morgan got a concussion," she explained to me, exasperatedly. I couldn't say I blamed her. Morgan always injured herself in some way when her and Nick came for their visit every other weekend. I was about to ask her how, but she answered my unasked question before I could, "she couldn't reach the bowl she wanted from the cupboard, so she climbed on the counter to grab it, but fell off."

"Ohmygosh," I said, facepalming. She had done something similar not too long ago. She was trying to grab a new box of cereal from the top of the pantry, and had tried climbing the shelves, which were apparently not very stable. She had only bruised her side a little bit though, so it wasn't too bad. "How bad is it?" I asked Spring through the phone.

"It isn't overly horrible," she said, "but they want to keep her for a little while just to make sure, and they said she probably shouldn't be flying."
