There Will Be No Party

Recap: "Guys," she started, "we should have a party." She grinned like the Cheshire Cat. Uh oh...

Felicity's P.O.V.
"Um, no we shouldn't," I told her.
"Yes we should," she said back.
"No, we really shouldn't."
"Yes, we really should."
"No."
"Why not?"
"Because I'm not cleaning up after everyone."

"They'd clean up after themselves."
"No, they wouldn't. They'd be too drunk."
"Not true."
"Yes it is."
"Well- fine then. But there are lots of reasons to have the party."
"There are also lots of reasons not to."

"Good point," I sighed in relief. And then, "let's make a pros and cons list!"
"No," I said firmly. But she was already writing it down on the list. So far, for pros, she had:
Fun
Socialize
Relax
Fun

And for cons. She had: Messy. I took the pen from her, and continued the list:
Irresponsible
Disgusting drunks
Possible injury
Hangover
Noisy
Socialize

"By the way," I pointed out, "you have fun on there twice." Clarissa glared at me.

"So? Double the fun." She stated, obviously not having a valid argument. "And socialize is on the pros list, not the cons list."

"That's because socializing sucks, and besides," I said, "my cons outweigh your pros."

"No," she said, "you just have more."
"Which means that I win."
"It does not!"
"Uh, yes it does."

"No, it's the value that counts in a pros and cons list." What? No it isn't.

"No it isn't, it's numbers."
"Is not."
"Is too."
"Is not!"

"Is too!" Everyone in the room was looking at us amused. Such helpful people...

"Why don't we ask everyone else their opinion?" She asked me, knowing I would lose the argument this way.

"Because they don't live here," I pointed out, hoping no one would find the loophole.

"Actually," Louis interrupted. Dammit Louis! Not cool! "For the time being, the boys and I live here as well. And I say we vote." Well, I guess I'm losing.

"Fine," I said, frustrated. "All in favour of having a party." Everyone in the room raised their hands except for Niall and I. I sighed in defeat. "Fine. Party it is." They all cheered loudly and took out their phones, probably to invite people.

I looked at Niall. "Thank you," I said to him, grateful I wasn't alone in the choice of no party (even though he probably did it just so I wasn't alone.) He smiled at me.

Lexi all of a sudden jumped up and looked at Katrish and I. We all knew what she was thinking. "We need to go shopping!" The three of us yelled together. I looked at everyone else. "Anyone else wanna come?"

"I do!" Chris yelled, walking through the front door. How he managed to hear our conversation from outside was beyond me, but I was glad he was here; I wouldn't be forced to socialize alone.

Shopping with Chris was always fun. He would help pick out outfits and give opinions, and he's totally honest about it. He also likes to go just to get outside. He gets bored really easily.

After that we all left, and went to the mall. The first store we went to was Ardenes. I used to love this store, but most of the clothes in here are really revealing anymore. None of us found anything, so we went to Aeropostale.

Katrish found her dress there. It's a pretty white dress that's about knee length. It has three-quarter length sleeves, and is off the shoulder, with a straight neckline. The bodice is just plain, but the skirt and sleeves are lace.
