Jungkook's pov.

Mom told me that Dad is coming to visit us and I wonder how and why mom allowed him to come. And on top of that, he'd be staying here for a couple of days.

I didn't know if I should've felt happy or unhappy about him coming here when my life was all messed up.

" Why don't we go get some groceries and stuff," Mom suggested.

" Groceries and STUFF?" I gave her a pointed look. " You guys are divorced, you can't get stuff and do stuff," I joked.

Lol.

" Oh shut up, by stuff I meant beverages. Your father won't survive a day without them." She taunted.

" You know him well," I winked and she rolled her eyes.

" Stop talking and let's go." She said pushing out of the door as she already grabbed the keys.

I hopped onto the driving seat as Mom sat beside me.  Adjusting the steering wheel, I looked in the back mirror at the door of Jimin's home.

I wished he would come out of his house so that I'd see if he is doing fine.

" He ain't gonna come out so, please hurry up and drive." Mommies and mommies for a reason.

" Fine," I said and started the engine.

" Does your father know about Jimin?" Mom asked and sighed.

" No. He thinks I am straight,"  I replied.

" Well you are straight, aren't you?" She joked... or mocked... I don't know.

I stayed quiet as I didn't want to argue, so I focused on driving the car.

" Oh hey, stop. Look it's Jimin." She suddenly shouted as she spotted Jimin walking on the other side of the road.  " Hey, Jimin. Come here." She shouted from the window and Jimin turned to see which crazy lady was calling his name.

He was wearing black sweatpants with a black hoodie and a woolen scarf wrapped around her neck, with the puffed cheeks and swollen eyes.

He looked cute as always.

But cuteness wasn't justifying the way his eyes were swollen, as if he had been crying all night.

I wish I could ask him what's wrong. And even if I ask him, he'd never tell me.

" Hey, Mrs. Jeon." He politely said smiling at her. Not daring to even glance at me.

Am I that bad?

" Well, you used to call me mom but it's okay if you don't want to anymore but I am not Mrs. Jeon anymore either." Mom said, smiling at him and his red puffed cheeks turned beet red at her statement.

" I am sorry," he simply replied looking down, constantly ignoring me.

" don't be, son. So... Where are you going? Why don't you come with us?"  She suggested and I mentally facepalmed, ...

I didn't want things to get more awkward between us. So it was better to stay as distant as we could.

" No thank you. Mum asked me to go groceries so I'll be heading there" He reasoned or lied... I don't know but I didn't work anyway.

" that's great we are also going for groceries. You can surely join us." She cheered.

     " but...."
