Another two years passed but it felt like yesterday. It felt like yesterday when they all said goodbye to Jimin.

It was a regular day for Jungkook where he woke up as the first ray of sunshine hit him. He was no more a teenager who would get yelled at by his mother to wake up.

He was 22 years old and much more older and composed than a regular 22 years old. *sarcasm intended*

" Crap," Jungkook groaned as he looked at his table clock.

It was his second year of university and he was still struggling with so many issues.

The biggest issue was his supply chain management professor who always gave him a hard time.

He looked at the blinking screen of his phone and it was Taehyung calling him.

" Hello," Jungkook lazily picked up the phone as he stuffed his head under the pillow.

" Do you have any idea how angry the professor was? You better get here or I'll kick your ass," Taehyung grumbled on the other side of the phone.

" he is going to fail me anyway, what the point in attending his class," Jungkook yawned as he rubbed his eyes.

" Go to hell, don't come crying when you'll need help for exams," Tae grumbled. Jungkook was about to say something but he hung upon him.

Sighing, Jungkook got out of the bed to drew the curtains as the sun rays hit his face directly.

Standing in his window, his eyes lingered at the closed curtains of the window in front of him. They've been closed like that for the last four years.

And consciously or unconsciously, but Jungkook stood at the same spot and stared at the same window daily, in hope that it would open someday...but it didn't.

He waited...even after blocking every path that led to him.

The only person that he let stay in his life was Taehyung because of two reasons. First, they shared the same course, and second Taehyung apologize for his behavior and that he felt guilty for leaving him behind just like others.

Jungkook forgave him on the terms that he would never bring up Jimin. He would never tell him anything about him.

And on the other hand, Taehyung agreed to that because he didn't want to upset Jungkook by telling him about Jimin's boyfriend, Taemin.

" So, what are we doing for this Halloween," Jungkook's Dad excitedly asked, wiggling his brows at Jungkook's mom.

" What are you? 18?" She cackled,
Adjusting her glasses at her nose as she was scrolling through her phone.

" No mom, he is 8. I saw him playing with a kid the other day," Jungkook sneered at his dad as he munch some roasted walnuts.

" Stop lying, son." Mr. Jeon sounded dead serious, " I was only trying to teach him building legos," he asked.

" No, don't lie," Jungkook retorted, " You were literally snatching those legos for that poor kid," Jungkook spat, making his mother look at his gasping father.
