  Author's pov.

        (Flashback)

It had already been three years of there friendship and Jungkook had changed alot. He was no more a cry baby, he still missed his Dad but he stopped complaining.

His father visited him once or twice a year and he was slowly coming to an understatement that things can't same as they were before. He now knew about his parents separation, thou thing hurt him alot but he accepted it, like a good kid. He still didn't know the reason nor he tried to ask her mom. He loved both of them.

He was still so young to understand the toxicity of being in an unhappy marriage but his mother used to tell him time to time that she wasn't happy with his father. She consoled her son, but never tried to break the good image of his father. All she said to him was that " your father is a good person but things didn't work out between us,"

She was lying, but she had to lie, in order to protect her son without thinking if it was a good thing or bad. She didn't want her son to breakdown in such a little age. This was the only reason that Jungkook wasn't allowed to spend time with his father, not even on weekends. His father didn't complain either because he himself knew that his ex wife won't allow that.

Jimin and Jungkook's bond was only growing stronger day by day. Jungkook got so used to of Jimin that they even started spending nights together. Their parents had no issue with that because as long as their kids were happy, they were also contended.

Jimin's parents really adored Jungkook because he was different than other friends of Jimin. He was quite understanding and more mature than his age. She'd treat him like his own son and same goes for Jimin.

Jungkook's mother liked Jimin alot because of his bubbly personality and he really helpful Jungkook to come out of his shell. Don't when and how, they became a family as their mothers were also best friends now.

"Why are you ignoring me?" Jungkook was ignoring Jimin and he didn't like that shit for a single bit as he didn't know the reason either.

Instead of telling him, Jungkook simply ignored him again as he indulge himself in the book he was reading.

" Tell me," Jimin whisper yelled as he didn't want to get scolded by the teacher. " I said, tell me,"

" No," Jungkook replied with a single word and this whole situation was frustrating Jimin. He didn't know what he did wrong but he also couldn't stand Jungkook being ignorant towards him.

" I am sorry, okay? Now tell me what's wrong? Did I do something wrong? Did I hurt you?" With a pounding heart Jimin asked, his voice was low. Jungkook looked at him from the corner of his eyes and could see the worried expressions on Jimin's face.

" Go play with your new friend. You don't want me anymore to play," Jungkook complained and older looked dumbfounded as he didn't have any idea what Jungkook was talking about.

" What are you talking about?" Jimin asked in frustration.

" I am talking about Taehyung," Jungkook scoffed, making Jimin's expressions drastically change as now he knew the reason.

" Oh Jungkook, he is my new friend. He is a good boy,"  Jimin was literally the social butterfly of class. He loved talking and making new friends, total opposite of Jungkook.
