Adena felt a little uncomfortable when they entered what Regulus told her was the Malfoy Manor. A bunch of people she had never met before came to greet them and Walburga would always introduce the brunette as Regulus' fiancée. She was glad he was holding tight onto her hand; his touch would ease her nervousness.

"Go greet the others," ordered them Walburga sternly as she and her husband were talking with an old couple, looking even more snobbish than them.

"I think it'll be easier if you meet my family members first," told her Regulus as they walked into the huge room.

"There's Narcissa... she's with Bellatrix, but whatever." He directed himself towards the two sisters, which were accompanied by Narcissa's husband, Lucius Malfoy. Adena was following, never letting go of his hand.

"Oh, here's Reg," said the blonde woman.

"Good evening Cissy, Bella. Lucius." And he nodded at the man, who nodded back.

"You really brought your girlfriend like your mother told me."

Adena smiled politely at her before introducing herself. "Adena Winsten, pleasure to meet you."

After she said that, Bellatrix let out a cynical laugh, which surprised a little Adena, She really looked mad, especially with her large tired eyes and her mass of messy black curls. Regulus didn't lie when he said her eyes were filled with a murderous glint.

"So, Reg's little fiancée is really that blood traitor's niece?" exclaimed the woman.

Adena flinched a little at this. "Yes, but we're not in contact anymore," clarified the girl with a stern voice.

"I hope for you or you won't ever see Regulus again."

"Bella, enough," coldly said Regulus.

"Bella, you're frightening the poor girl with your threats."

"I just wanted to make myself clear," answered nonchalantly the woman even though she was wearing a large sadistic smile.

"Tell us about you Adena. What house are you in?"

"Ravenclaw."

"You must be smart. How long have you been dating you two?"

"Hm, it's been ten months."

"What's happening here?" said the voice of a man from behind them.

Regulus and Adena both turned around, to meet a man in his seventies, accompanied by a woman of the same age. The brunette stared at him with shock.

"Adena, this is Belvina and Grisha Winsten..." trailed off the boy as he turned his face towards the girl. "You're from the same family?"

"Exactly. I haven't seen you in a while Adena, since the last time you've come with my brother I believe."

"Yeah, right, last time I came with Grandfather was something like ten years ago," she said, her voice still sounding surprised.

"Well I'm happy to see you too together. It has been long for you as well." answered the old man with a grin, an amused glint in his eyes.

"I... met Regulus before?" she said confused, as she turned to look at her boyfriend.

"I don't know. There was a bunch of children at that time," replied the boy by her side.

"Adena, Regulus is the first child we introduced to you when you came for the first time," said nicely Belvina, her wrinkled eyes smiling at her as well.

"I think it sounds familiar..."

She was seven years old when she came to a party of that sort with her grandfather for the first time. And Regulus was right, there was always a bunch of children for the few times she had attended.
