TW: assault
The two Ravenclaw prefects were soon coming on their way back after their long round of the castle. Just as they were arriving at the Gryffindor common room's floor, Adena felt something grab her left hand, the one holding her wand, and soon her other hand was grabbed too. And she was pushed up against the nearest wall, both her hands pinned up to it. She came face to face with Dale's scaring dark eyes watching her like a prey. His grip was so strong that she accidentally let her wand fall to the floor as she winced in pain. Her usually calm hazel eyes were widened in fear and confusion and her brows knitted together. She watched silently as Dale dangerous' gaze came closer to her pale face. She wasn't even daring to make a move or scream as fear had completely paralyzed her now stiff body.
"Look at you! You're usually acting all confident, should I say cocky, or haughty. But you're just a whore," he had an evil smirk on his face as he said that. His black hair was coming down his forehead, but she still could see the hint of animosity and hatred in his eyes. He was holding her with such force that she was afraid her fragile wrists might break.
"You might be smart but you're just a weak girl," he laughed at that, a low laugh, making a shiver run down her spin. He kept on closing the distance between his body and her stiff one. She wished she could melt into the wall at that moment. His grip became stronger and she knew it would bruise. The slight wave of pain made her let out a light scream of suffering. What the Ravenclaw didn't know was that two people were making their way in their direction and that scream had alarmed them.
Adena heard footsteps, then a familiar voice she couldn't quite recognize, shouting a strong 'Stupefy' before a ray of red light appeared and her body then fell limp to the floor, really feeling weak at the moment. She was trembling and her gaze was stuck to the floor. She only lifted it up when the voice of a girl kneeling down at her side started calling out her name.
"Winsten? Winsten are you okay?"
Ivanna Flint, one of the Slytherin prefects was staring at her with a worried look plastered on her face.
Even before attempting to let out an answer, Adena's scared orbs looked up, meeting Regulus' dark eyes, who was frowning. His eyes were dark as well but didn't held the same emotions as Dale's, his were almost comforting in this situation.
"Flint, can you go find someone," Regulus spoke, his voice monotonous as he took a few steps towards the shaken form of Adena. She watched as the girl started walking fast towards the direction they had just come from, looking almost more panicked than Adena looked.
Regulus was walking slowly the short distance that separated them. When he knelt down to her other side, she started moving again, pulling her knees up against her chest, enveloping herself with her arms as if protecting herself. Her chin was on top of her knees and she didn't dare looking anywhere than straight to the front.
"I won't do anything to you," started Regulus with a surprising soft voice, sensing her nervousness, "Show me your arm, please."
She could have said 'no', she could have stayed unmoving, but she still held out her shaking limb towards him, while continuing to avoid his eyes. She didn't know how but she felt like she could trust him.
He stared at it, muttering a quiet 'thanks'. He then approached his long and delicate fingers to her wrist, side glancing at her face, in case she was about to flinch but just found emptiness in her features. His hand first took a hold of her own and before he could examine her bruised wrist, running sounds were coming close to them. They both turned their heads when it reached them. Once again, the Slytherin male frowned upon discovering who had come to them.
