The next morning, most of the students were packing their stuff to go back home. Everyone was feeling excited regarding the Christmas holidays. But Adena was feeling rather gloomy. At breakfast, she stayed quiet, like for the past days since she was still in conflict with Jacob. Once she finished her meal, she quickly left the Great Hall. She just hoped Regulus would join her soon. She walked outside, observing the snowflakes falling slowly from the cloudy grey sky. Hogwarts' landscape was beautiful no matter the season in her eyes.

"You'll catch a cold," said a familiar voice in her ear, making her jump. Regulus wrapped his arms around her body from behind, caging her in his warm embrace. The boy placed his lips on his girlfriend's cheek before resting his chin on her shoulder.

"You packed already?"

"Yeah. The girls and I woke up early so we could relax before leaving."

"I didn't do it yet."

"We have to be in the train in one hour."

"I know, but I prefer spending this hour with you."

"Numpty go pack your stuff," she whispered, turning around so they would be facing each other.

"I will if you wait for me at the castle's entrance."

"Okay, now go!"

Instead of moving, he gave her a kiss. "I can go now."

When Adena went back her common room, she ignored everybody, retiring in her room for a moment before leaving. She took out her winter clothes which included her cape, scarf, and beanie. The weather was chilly, and she didn't want to get sick. It didn't take too long, and she quickly went out again, passing through the crowd of Ravenclaw students before getting into the hallway. She walked to the entrance and sat down, continuing to watch the snow fall. Regulus joined her later on, dressed the same way as her. The male sat down at her side.

"Aren't you freezing there?"

"Not really, but I think I should learn a warming charm. Are you cold though?"

"Not that much..."

"I can still warm you up if you need," murmured the young girl.

"Oh, well think I'm cold now."

These words made Adena laugh. She glided closer to him, before her arms snaked around his waist, letting her head fall against his chest.

"Your hair is back to normal," said Regulus as he passed his fingers through her curls.

"Yeah, happily it didn't last long."

"I prefer it that way too..."

They stayed like this for a while before students started leaving the castle in order to go to Hogsmeade's train station.

"Adena... we have to leave..." whispered Regulus. The girl tightened her grip around his body.

"I'll be with you during the train ride too."

"Can we sit together after?" said her muffled voice.

"I'll go the same compartment as the boys, is that okay?"

"Yes, as long as you're here."

And she finally lifted her head up, meeting her boyfriend's stormy eyes. She then detached herself from him before getting up. The Slytherin did the same thing as well before talking a hold of her hand. They rode together to Hogsmeade but decided to not get in the train too soon, knowing they would meet James Potter and Lily Evans in the prefect's carriage. As they waited, they enjoyed a few kisses. Barely anyone was waiting outside, they were basically alone.
