Saturday came and Adena woke up early so she could attend Regulus' practice session. The boy seemed really delighted to see her at the Ravenclaw table when he came into the Great Hall and he even went to sit beside her, not caring about what his teammates especially his Captain could say. They were lucky barely anyone was there yet.

"You're actually coming," he said with a smile as he placed a kiss on her temple while she was munching her toast.

"Of course, I told you," she answered with a grin as she read the Daily Prophet, but her grin quickly faded away.

"What are you reading?"

He bent over her shoulder, reading the same article as her. It was about the reported missing of yet another Ministry's worker. They both knew who was behind this and Regulus tensed up a little. Normally he wouldn't care but seeing Adena witnessing such acts from who he could call his partners, just made him feel uneasy. She gently took a hold of his wrist – the one with the Dark Mark – and she started rubbing it, as if sensing his tension. Her caring gestures meant 'I'm here with you. No matter what, I'm here.'

"Eat something, practice will start soon, and you shouldn't go out on the pitch with an empty stomach."

He nodded and she let his arm go so he could eat something. She continued reading in silence after that.

When practice was about to start, they left the hall and walked hand in hand until reaching the pitch and leaving each other's side. Adena noticed the weather had become chillier in this mid-October. She was lucky enough Regulus brought his scarf with him so it could keep her a little warm in the bleachers. She loved this scarf since it had the same scent as him, something so familiar and comforting that always made her smile.

When practice started the young Ravenclaw already felt bored. It wasn't the most entertaining thing to watch, especially since Regulus was mostly out of her view. But she liked the idea of being there for him. Soon the Captain called for a break and the girl could hear the groans of complain from up there. Zabini started shouting at them and shouted even louder when Regulus got down by their side. She could see why the boy said that Zabini was a pain, his behavior was unbearable even though she wasn't part of the team. Being fed up with the way he was talking to his teammates, especially her boyfriend at the moment, Adena didn't hesitate one second before pointing her wand at the boy, saying 'Silencio'. He continued yelling but suddenly no sound was heard anymore. Regulus looked up at her with a surprised expression as well as a satisfied grin on his face. The others turned to her as well and they all started laughing except Zabini who was giving her a death glare, with his lips continuing to move without any sound getting out but the girl didn't feel the slightest bit intimidated.

She eventually put an end to the charm and Zabini started talking again to Regulus specifically, but she couldn't hear. She only saw his reaction which was quite shocking.

"What a slag. You should teach your girl a lesson or two Black. And put a leash around her neck so she can know her place," spat the boy harshly.

Regulus who was usually the type to keep his calm completely snapped at these words. He quickly drew out his wand that was hiding in his Quidditch robe pocket and pointed it to Zabini's neck.

"One more word and I swear this is the last time you see light. You're the one who should know your place. You better shut up before my girl, like you said, makes you shut that filthy mouth of yours."

The brunette couldn't see well from afar but Regulus' eyes had a dark color, looking murderous, and added to his calm but threatening voice, Zabini just nodded his head. She was really confused by the exchange.
