When dinner ended, Adena made sure to thank Kreacher for the meal who was cleaning the table, before joining Regulus who was climbing up the stairs.
"I'll show you the library and the book I want to give you," he told her.
They arrived in the library situated on the third floor. The place wasn't too big, but it was full of all type of books, probably including some about Dark Magic, thought the girl. As Regulus was looking for the book in particular, Adena was looking through random books. She opened one that was indeed about Dark Magic, quickly reading what it was about, and frowning a little when discovering its content.
"What did you find- oh you shouldn't read that," chuckled the boy.
She gave him the book with a laugh, and he gave her the one he was holding.
"It's old and dusty," she stated, wiping off the dust on the cover.
Adena read the title, Discovering the stars and planets of our Galaxy, before opening the book. The first pages represented the system solar, with each of its planet tracing their trajectory around the sun magically. She was really fascinated as she looked at it.
"Do you like it? There's more." As he said that, the raven-haired male turned a few pages where they discovered a constellation and every star surrounding it. The best thing was that they were actually shining as if she was observing the sky.
"Wow, that's so beautiful. I've never read a book like that, I really like it," murmured the girl, amazed.
"I'm happy if you like it," murmured back the boy.
"Thanks." And she placed a kiss on his cheek.
"Can you go up to my room to take my broomstick while I'll go tell my mother we're leaving?"
"Okay." She left the room with the book in her hands and climbed up the stairs until reaching the room. Re-reading the sign on the door made her chuckle and she thought she had the permission to enter and did so. Adena found the broomstick beside the closet, in one corner of the room. She left after that, climbing down the stairs quickly, and finding Regulus and his mother in the living-room. He noticed her and said goodbye to his mother before joining the girl.
"We can go?"
"Yeah!" said the girl with a happy smile on her lips.
They went down and left by the front door, which Adena had never took. She discovered the outside of the house, which looked rather miserable in comparison to the sophisticated rooms she saw inside. She quickly followed Regulus who was walking down the street.
"It's a shabby neighborhood," stated the girl.
"I know but my mother likes this house since it's been owned by our family for decades."
They walked for a while, Regulus having his broomstick in one hand, receiving weird stares from the rare Muggles passing by but he didn't seem to care. This place of London seemed calmer than the other neighborhoods at least.
"The sun's still up so I guess some people might be out, so we'll have to fly high."
"We'll have a better view." And she smiled amusedly.
They walked until finding somewhere deserted and hidden enough. He climbed on the broom, Adena coming behind him and holding tightly onto him. She couldn't help remembering the first time they did that, and it seemed like Regulus did too.
"You know how to hold me tight now," chuckled the boy.
"I was shy before," muttered the girl, and Regulus chuckled some more, before flying into the air, surprising the girl who let out a frightened squeak.
