It's been almost a two weeks since me and Everette have started, whatever we're doing exactly and it's been almost perfect. Almost.
TW: panic attacks.————————-
I walk into school on Tuesday, fully prepared for the glares I'm going to get.Everette isn't here today because he had to go with my parents to deal with something about his parents, I don't know.
Leah's here but we have no classes together and I don't see her until lunch after we get inside the building.
I go to my locker as I walk in. Plastered on the front of my locker are multiple neon sticky notes.
I sigh before pulling them off and reading them.
I chuckle before crumpling up and shoving them inside my bag. It's nothing I haven't heard before.
I shrug it off and make my way to Class.
When I walk into calculus I see a group of girls whispering and pointing to me as I walk in.
Okay come on guys what are we, 12?
Throughout the class I can't help but feel eyes trained on me. I keep my eyes directed towards the front of the room, trying to ignore it.
————————I walk to my second class of the day, history, letting out a breathe of relief knowing I never have any issues in this class.
It's infuriating but the work is simple and no one says anything to me or even looks at me, really.
As I get to the door, a skinny arm flys out In front of the doorframe and stops me in my tracks. I look up to see, low and behold.
Sarah Jenkins. Sarah is the closest thing we have to a Regina George in this school. She's such a fucking bitch.
Apparently her and Everette had a relationship for like a month in his freshman year, before she cheated on him and he dumped her.
"Move, Sarah."
" I don't think I will." She says, trying to be smart.
I grab her arm and shove it down from the door frame. She gasps slightly before shoving me and stepping in front of me.
I step back, now noticing the hall is empty.
"Where's your little boy toy today?" She asks smirking.
I don't respond. She looks me up and down before smiling fakely . I hear the bell ring and attempt to go around her but she stops in-front of me.
I grow angrier.
"Fucking move Sarah." I don't really want to fight her right now.
"You know I'm not sure what he sees in you honestly. You're nothing special."
I scoff.
"I mean your hair is a weird color, you're fat, your boobs are practically nonexistent, and does little Everette know about your brother, his drug problem?" She says.
What the fuck is she talking about? Neither of my brothers have a drug problem.
"The fuck are you talking about?" I say angrily.
"Oh you didn't know that? Oops."
"Let's just say I've seen pills and your blonde brother in one room, on multiple occasions."
I snap. I punch her harshly in the face, before she trips slightly and tries to hit me back. I dodge her poor attempt at slapping me and punch her again, this time landing a right hook to the side of her head.
