~A few days later-
The last few days have been good. Things at school are still a little rocky, Sarah got suspended, Bryce hasn't shown back up and Nothing has been said to Everette.He's so worried about me. I didn't tell him everything that happened with Bryce. I just told him that when he found out about Leah beating up Sarah he came up to me and when I tried to get away he grabbed my hands.
That's not what happened. I was out at the back of the school because I needed somewhere to think, everyone else was already gone. I was going to call Everette and tell him where I was when I got out there but Bryce was waiting for me.
I tried to turn back and leave but he pulled me by the arm. He kept talking about how because Sarah wasn't going to be at school that I needed to be her replacement. He tried to touch me but I kneed him and that's when he grabbed my wrists and Everette walked out.
I can't tell him. He almost killed him last time and all he did was have his hands on my wrists. I know I shouldn't keep it from him, but I can't risk losing him. I've been having nightmares about Bryce, I told Everette that but I didn't explain anything.
I feel horrible but I just want to keep him safe. I don't want him to go do something stupid because of me.
And then there's Eli. I've only spoken to him when I have to since he told me about the pills. I'm worried about him. I've always been closer with Elias than Zach or Paige, I'm close with them too but me and Eli have been best friends ever since we were children. And it hurts me that he didn't tell me.
Zach and Paige want me to talk to him, Everette too. I want to. I really do, but I don't know how. I feel guilty. I feel guilty that Eli felt like he needed pills. I don't know when it started but either way, I feel guilty that drugs is what he turned too.
The other night was perfect. I had an unbelievable amount of fun at that carnival. It felt nice to be happy after everything that happened. Everette made me feel so loved. He always makes me feel so important.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"I fucking hate Calculus." I say to Leah sitting on her bed
"As You've said multiple times."
"I really do." I say. I don't know how the fuck to do this homework.
"EVERETTE!" I yell from my room. He's smart, he'll know how to do this.
I hear footsteps in front of my door as he pushes it open. "Yes?"
"Did you do the Calc homework?"
"Yeah do you need it?"
"Please?" I ask. He rolls his eyes jokingly and he goes to his room to get the homework.
"Here." He hands it to me and sits down on my bed.
"Hi Leah." He says to Leah who is currently glaring at us from across the room.
He flips her off and she goes back to doing her homework. I sit with him on my bed as I copy his homework when I hear knocking on my door.
"Come in"
"Hey sis can we talk?" Eli says.
I sigh but I nod reluctantly. It's been too long without him anyway.
Leah gets up and walks out, giving us privacy and Everette follows.
"Look Atlas I'm sorry. I'm sorry for snapping at you and I'm sorry for lying. I just want my sister back. I'm so sorry." He says, the regret evident on his face.
