*if you haven't read my authors note that's at the top of this book please do, I update that regularly so I don't have to put too many unnecessary parts in the book when I need to tell you all something*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I groan in annoyance when I roll out of bed, taking the Advil Everette left of the table for me and going to get dressed.
I wake Leah up like I always do and grab a sweatshirt and a some jeans out of my closet.
I go to my bathroom and brush my teeth, and try to brush my hair, that didn't work out so well, so I eventually ended up with my hair in a bun on the back of my head, a clip holding it in place and some pieces left out of the bun framing my face.
I look awful. My eyes have bags under them, my eyes are paler than usual, my complexion too, I look, tired.
I walk out of the bathroom and Leah goes in after me, doing her hair and makeup. I only put on mascara because I feel too shitty to do anything else today.
When I walk downstairs I look for Everette but find Eli instead.
I just walk past him. I forgive him at this point, I mean it's only been a few days since he snapped at me but I'm not mad at him, I just want him to understand that what he did isn't okay. Under any circumstances.
I hear him sigh behind me as I go to the fridge. I open it to get an apple like I always do but when I see food I internally vomit and close the fridge.
Not happening.
Leah walks downstairs, looking gorgeous as always, wearing a skintight black dress and a jean jacket, white air forces on her feet, her face glowing and bright, she looks great.
Paige walks downstairs after her, her and Eli planning to leave soon. I hug her before she leaves before going back upstairs to find Everette.
"Ev?" I call out and he comes out of the bathroom. He always takes so long to get ready. He's wearing a white button up that's loosely tucked in to his dark baggy jeans, his hair messy, he's wearing white air forces like Leah.
"Hi pretty girl." He says smirking as he kisses the side of my mouth. I push him playfully before a very hyper Athena attaches herself to my leg. "Well hi there baby." I coo as I pick her up and tickle her in my arms.
She screams and giggles and I smile at her happy face. Ev looks at us both and smiles before he grabs his bag and mine and we walk downstairs.
Everette leaves earlier than me to take Athena to daycare and me and Leah sit at the kitchen counter.
"What happened at the party last night?" I ask her. I have no memory.
"You got super drunk." She stated, holding back a smirk.
"No shit Sherlock, what'd I do?" I ask her seriously
"Nothing too embarrassing, you just danced a little, and then you did fall, Everette picked you up and you rolled out of his arms and on to the floor."
"So that's why my back hurts like hell." I groan.
She laughs and I grab my keys. When we get to the school I shake my head as I walk through the doors, fully expecting some mean ass notes or something on or IN my locker, but instead I'm pulled inside a janitors closet.
"Okay Everette this would be hot if I wasn't completely hungover right now."
*"Well then baby, let's cure that hangover."
I freeze. That's not Everette. Fuck.
I do the only thing I can think of and I raise my knee hard, hoping I hit something good.
