CHAPTER SIXTEEN
Antreas Cordova
"Where are you going, Antreas?" Tanong ni kuya Aries.
Dinirible ko ang bolang hawak ko. "Were just going play at the club kuya."
Nakahalukikip si kuya Aries habang nakatingin samin ni Crest. "At this time of the day? Malapit ng magdilim Antreas."
"Just for a while, kuya, we won't take too long." Mahinahon kong sabi, dahil baka di ako payagan.
"Go home before 6." Pinal na sabi niya.
Nanlaki ang mata ko.
"Kuya it's quarter to four!"
Di sumagot si kuya. Bagkus matalim lang ang tingin niya at nakakunot pa ang noo. Looks that say "Makuha ka sa isang salita."
Huminga ako ng malalim. "Fine." Niyakag ko na si Crest na nakangiti na sakin.
"Don't laugh at me."
"I'm not."
Kuya Aries was already in college. While me and Adamaris, my twin are in high school.
Daddy and mommy are always out since they're taking care of our business. Kuya was also in training on how to handle it, since he's is after all, the heir. Since our parents was always out, kuya Aries was the one in charge of the house for a while after he comes home from school. Ayaw niya na nagpapagabi kaming dalawa ni Adamaris. He's strict sometimes. But not all the time. He just got his own rules, which is a must obey.
"Kuya, we have a tournament on Thursday. Do you want to watch? I think mommy and daddy can 't make it." I said habang nasa hapag kami. Kaming tatlo lang magkakapatid ang nakain. As I said, our parents are out of the country.
"Sure, where?" He said nilagyan niya ng juice ang baso ko.
"Just near our school, kuya."
"Can I watch! Can I watch!" Pangungulit ni Adamaris.
"Of course, you'll watch! You're required to support me!" What is she saying? Of course wherever I am she should be there too!
Sumimangot si Adamaris. "I hate that idea."
Why'd you hate the idea? I'm your twin!
Tumawa si kuya Aries. "You're stuck with me, kiddo" He pat Adamaris' head.
"It's not you I'm gonna support! I'll support Crest!" Sigaw niya sakin.
Nagpantig naman ang tenga ko. "What did you say?"
But she's just sticking her tongue to me. "Bleh, bleh, bleh"
Matalim lang ang tingin ko sa kanya.
"Antreas, that's enough. Eat your food." Sabi ni kuya.
The day of the tournament. Our team won.
Halos daganan ako ng mga kagrupo ko. It was a buzzer beater. Lamang kami ng dalawang puntos. Ako naman ay umakbay kay Caius at kinulit ang buhok niya. He was the one who passed the ball to me. He was a junior.
"NICE ASSIST, YOU SHIT!" Tawa namin.
Kuya Aries and Adamaris was chearing me from the crowd. Tinaas ko lang ang kamao ko sa kanila.
Since the game was not really part of our school curricular. We don't really have a couch, but Crest was our captain and the acting coach.
"Good job guys!" He shouted. They were planning a celebration, in our teammates house. I just said I still have to ask my brother.
