AN: Hey I still have plans to do a part three of assassination high school chapter but this Is a chapter while I am working on it. If you know the mean girl's movie/musical this chapter is based on both so it will have similarities and differences. 

(THERE ARE ALSO A TON OF MUSICAL REFERENCES IN THEM SEE HOW MANY YOU CAN SPOT)

IMPORTANT: Alex is playing aaron samuels and Kara is Cady so in the movie they are in love obviously with those two playing those characters that would be insest and weird so I am changing the plot slightly just wanted to address this beforehand.  Also I ship Janis and Cady so that's how this is gonna go

Lena's POV
September 1st, 2018, first day of junior year!!! Yay!

I internally roll my eyes at the thought of yet another year in this hell hole.

"Hey boo! You ready for another year in this dump?" My best friend Sam says while giving me a bear hug.

She is a tall and thin woman with tan skin and brown hair that suits her perfectly. She is my best friend in the whole wide world. I would marry her if I was gay. 

I am straight. Obviously. I think as I shove the girl who is several inches taller than me and adjust my flannel.

"Yes, Sam I am ready. Excited? Not at all. I would rather spend an hour straight with Regina in a locked room." She raises an eyebrow at me, "Scratch that, the Regina thing would be wayyyyyyy worse!" 

She laughs and nods in agreement "What's your first class?" We head towards her locker.

It takes us a minute to get there and grab our books.

"History," I say with a groan. I am about to start ranting about how annoying the teacher is when Sam taps my shoulder and points at a blonde looking at the different lockers looking lost and confused.

She had piercing blue eyes behind black glasses and her hair was in a low ponytail. She is kinda cu-

NO LENA NO! You are not a lesbian! You are straight and like the jocks and their gross faces.

When I am feeling certain feelings that just don't feel right. I just turn them off.

I have nothing against other people who are gay. I just can't be gay I mean I am a good catholic and god wouldn't do that to me because my family would disown me. And then I would homeless and alone and that can't happen. I can't leave my brother with my parents alone... (Lex isn't evil) 

I take a deep breath and look to where Sam was previously standing. She wasn't there anymore to my surprise.

I quickly look around for her afraid that she may have gotten into a scuffle with the cheerleaders again.

I sigh in relief when I see that she is only talking to the new girl but my breath catches in the back of my throat when she waves me over.

I walk over to them and I am blinded by the girl's smile as she says "Hello! My name is Kara Zor-el and I would like to share with you the most amazing story!"

I raise my eyes at Sam who is chuckling nervously before saying "Okay Kara maybe later!" she says while she starts walking down the hallway. She looks behind her back at me and mouths "not a chance'' as we continue walking. "So Kara you are new here where did you move from?"

Cady seems to relax a little into the conversation and says "I am from Sweden" 

I decided to finally say something. "That is a long way" wow I am an idiot. Of course, it's a long way it is in Europe for fuck's sake. I mean she is gonna think I am a dumbass now.
