AN: This is a quick chapter that I hope you enjoy it's inspired by a song from my girlfriend's favorite artist. (Yah I got a girlfriend :)) 

Kara's POV

"Hey, Kar wait up!" I turn and see my co-captain and friend Sam jogging down the hallway toward me. Her brown hair was pulled back in a high ponytail as her cheer skirt switches back and forth as she runs my way.

She wasn't stick thin but had a nice muscular frame that allowed her to be an amazing back spot. (I don't know anything about cheer I am sorry) 

"Hey, Sam how are you doing?"

Sam finally reaches me and says "I am good. Not excited about school but I am excited about practice. I mean we are co-captains after all" as we continue walking to class together she shakes the arm closest to her in pure excitement.

"Yes. We are captains so be cool and take a deep breath." I say quietly "We cannot be seen geeking out on day one" 

Sam rolls her eyes at me and says "Kar we have been dreaming about being co-captains together since we were punny little freshmen. This is OUR YEAR! FINALLY! And we are going to fucking rule the school."

I roll my eyes at the girl and say "Yeah it is but we still need to be cool about it. We run this school now."

"Hell yeah we do!"

We finally reach our class and take a seat at the back of the classroom.

A minute later the bell rings and our classmates start filling the room.

*after school*

I put my books in my locker and grab my cheer bag before heading to the locker room to change.

I walk into the locker room and hear cheering and shouting.

I see my cheer squad standing in a circle.

I walk up and say "What's going on?" when I reach the circle my eyes widen as I see some of the juniors kicking a smaller girl on the ground. I quickly yell "STOP! NOW!"

All the girl's eyes widen at my aggressive tone and they back away from the pour beat and bloody girl.

I see tears rolling down her cheeks as she lays in the fetal position covering her head. I clench my fists at my side and say "All of you. Out. Now. You are all going to run until you puke your guts out and then you are going to do plank till you can't feel your arms" I point at the door and continue to say "If I get outside and you aren't sprinting at full speed. You will each be thrown off the squad before you can say 'I love cheer'." I see their eyes widen and they quickly run out of the locker room.

As they left Sam walks in and says "Woah what scared them-" She sees me and looks down at the girl then back to me before saying "Oh you scared them."

I turn to my co-captain and best friend and say "I walked into them beating the crap out of this poor girl. I sent them to run till they puke go make sure they are really doing that. If they aren't throw them off the squad. We should probably throw them off the squad for this anyway but I am deciding to be nice for now but I am two seconds away from changing my mind about that"
