Gang AU

AN: Would anyone be interested in a master list of all the queer books I have found/heard of? With recommendations on the books that I have read? I have been diving and searching for queer books and I am finally finding some more. Just curious.

This is kinda an odd AU but I hope you enjoy it.

Narrator's POV

In this town there are three ways a person can live

1. Under the protection or as a member of one of the two gangs that rule the city,

or

2. Under the protection of the neutral group

The two gangs are known for two very different things but they also have similarities.

The Death Angel's are a brutal group of some of the most attractive people in all of the land. And they know it. Using their charm, charisma, and sex appeal to get what they want. And if that doesn't work the are also merciless assassins for hire to the rich and wealthy of the Kingdom. They are known far and wide for their vicious tactics.

The Boiling Bloods are power-hungry. They may control more territory than the Angels of death at the moment but it is because they used their sheer size and strength to strong-armed it. They are known for having strong scary members who would snap your arm without a second thought. They rule with an iron fist and use intimidation and threats to get what they want.

These two groups have two soft spots. Two people that they mutually agreed to never hurt. These people have the ability to grant mercy and protection from the gangs and all gang business to people as they see fit. They are also the only two people who have the patience and ability to control the gang leaders.

To put it simply this town is pretty chaotic. Well, this story is going to show you just how chaotic a simple day can be.

Kate Bishop's POV

I let the arrow fly sending the arrow sailing through the air before burying home into the target next to one of our bodyguards heads.

He didn't even blink as I pull out my next arrow.

I start to pull back but I am interrupted by Sara (Lance) my best friend, and fellow gang leader of the Death Angels walks into the room as she says "Kate I know you love archery but do you have to do it with our guard next to your target"

I roll my eyes and say "It adds a flair of, danger to it" I say while I stow away my bow and quiver away in the holder next to me. "It's no fun without it" I add with a shrug.

She rolls her eyes at me and takes a seat in one of our matching thrones. Her's was made of white marble with swords and knives pointing out of the back, versus mine which is purple and had a lot of gems and stones on it (there are also about 40 hidden weapons stored around it).

She gives me a pointed look so I stand in front of her and say "Why are you all serious and grumpy right now?"

She glares at me and says "Katie baby please focus"

I run a hand through my raven hair and say "Okay what's going on?"

She laces her long fingers together and says "Our scouts reported a Boil sneaking around our territory but there is no confirmation of anything"

I nod my understanding and say "True but how often are our scouts wrong"

She nods agreement and says "This is true that's why I thought we should send one of our special angels's out to investigate more deeply"
