AN: I feel like I say this all the time but I am sorry I have been MIA I have been struggling and getting ready for college and all this crazy shit and I haven't gotten any time to write (Though I haven't had any ideas anyway.)

Kara's POV

"Some nights I stay up cashing in my bad luck. Some nights-" I grab my phone before the lyrics of my ring tone could continue and bring it to my ear after I clicked the answer button.

"Hello?" I question in a groggy tone. My phone screen was too bright to read who was calling me at this ungodly hour.

"KARA!" I flinch at the voice screaming directly into my ear and I am about to yell at the person calling me but recognition hits me before I do.

"Lena?" I question "Why are you calling me at..." I glance at the clock on my bedside table "3 in the morning?"

"Kara, Kara, Kara why are you so pretty?"

I sit up in bed and rub my eyes as I say "You are drunk. Where is James?"

"James is still at home. He left me on the side of the road because we got into a fight."

"HE WHAT??!" I whisper yell knowing I would get murdered by both Alex and Mom.

"Kara" Lena whined before slurring out "Too loud"

I am already out of bed pulling on a pair of sweat pants and my worn-out converse as I say "Lena, I need you to do me a favor."

"Anything for you Kara"

"I need you to send me your location on your phone so I can come pick you up."

"But I don't have my phone" Lena slurs out and I hear a thud that makes me more concerned as I walk out of my room and down the stairs as I hear her say "I'm okay!" In a proud tone.

"Le, honey, you are using your phone to talk to me right now."

"Oh," There is a slight giggle "Yah I knew that" a couple of seconds of silence scares me but my phone pings, and I see Lena's location pop up in our text conversation.

Impressive that she is so drunk that she doesn't remember her phone is in her hand but she knows how to share her location.

It's just inside town so it will be about a 15-minute drive-

I flinch from a loud crash on the other side of the line.

Okay, I can get there in 9 minutes.

I climb into my car as I say "Lena stay on the line with me I am coming to get you so I want you to stay exactly where you are okay?"

"Anything for you Kara" in a normal voice that would normally make me turn into a tomato but considering she is drunk I move on.

As I predicted it took me less time than it should to get to Lena's location because well, I got incredibly lucky that no cops saw me going 25 over the speed limit.

I pull into the side of the road and climb out of my car looking around and not seeing Lena worry starts creeping into my chest as I say "Lena where are you?"

I hear giggles through the line before Lena says "We are playing hide and seek come find me"

"Lena. We are not playing games right now. Where are you"
