"Cause all of me
Loves all of you."

Avni had let the pain her father had caused her go years ago, Mr Mehta was never there for her even when she was a kid as she remembered little snippets from her old life. He was never there for parents meeting, nor for her first marathon, he was never there. So when she still felt disappointment from her father not being there for her in hospital while she was knocked out felt annoying and stupid.

Maybe she felt disappointed cause she had seen him acting like a father to Aman? Seeing him talking to Aman about his everyday schedule actually smiling when Aman joked made her believe maybe her father was there somewhere wanting to be her father just like he was to Aman.

But him not showing up there proved her wrong. She shook her head and concentrated on where she was driving again. She had lost a mother that was sad but what was sadder is that she never had a father. This was the reason why she was here in the car than sitting in Mehta Mansion having dinner, she was not ready to face Mr Mehta yet, she didn't want to sit in front of him now knowing he was a stranger to her.

She took a right turn, listening to her stomach's rumbling heading towards a cafe she had discovered recently, her car's speed regular as she took a left turn, Avni slowed down her car when she saw a familiar figure walking on the footpath, she frowned driving beside the figure slowly. The figure stopped and noticed her.

"What are you doing here?" Neil asked, his hands were buried in his jeans, his green t-shirt covered him but Avni doubted it was enough to keep cold out considering the weather was getting colder, his white converse covered in mud.

"I could I ask you the same." she shouted as she pulled the car in front of him, Neil sighed which she distinguished as a frustrated sigh, "And here I thought I would get a normal answer." he muttered, Avni scoffed.

"Shut up."

"I was out for a walk." he shrugged, she raised her eyebrow a walk? Almost two kilometres away from his home, "What about you?"

"Same as you, out for a drive." she emphasised on the drive, Neil shook his head, "Fair enough."

"Wanna come to a cafe with me?" She asked him out of blue, Neil glanced towards her from the water droplets he was looking at, "Cafe?"

"Yup, there's one close by, you don't seem like you want to go back home nor do I, so let's have something before we die of hunger?" She elaborated, he seemed very wary of the idea, Avni didn't blame him.

This all was new to them considering they both were ready to kill each other just a few days ago.

"You sure about this idea?"

"I don't mind the company." she shrugged, Neil nodded, he contemplated once before opening the door of the car getting in, the car ride was awkward.

They both didn't have anything to talk about and it was okay since they were barely friends. Avni glanced towards him and frowned when she saw slight goosebumps on his skin, the windows of the car were open since she didn't like A.C much the air outside was very cold and if you added the speed of the car the whole weather was colder.

She was not affected by it because she was dress accordingly to season in a grey hoodie with a t-shirt underneath and jeans but he was not of course. She pulled the car to the side and leaned into the back seat to remove a huge hoodie from her bag ignoring his confused stares.

Every girl always had extra clothes on her and after the cafeteria accident, Avni always made sure to have one in her bag too. She was sure this hoodie will fit him since it was really large and bought from the men section. She had bought it when she went with Ali to shop, she had liked this one so she had bought it.
