"Now what?" Riya asked, they all were calmer now even Avni had stopped crying.
They all sat in circle on floor, Aman still silent. Avni shifted underneath the eyes of everyone, they all were looking at her expecting answer. Avni shrugged.
"We will have to wait for investigation after that takes place, I will send you account details where money is, then you all can leave, try to live lowkey for few months and then you can be free." she told them the plan, they all nodded solemnly.
"Our other family members what about them?" Karan questioned, his knee against his chest, head resting on knees.
"They all were involved in this Karan, they all will be go down, you can't save anyone without going down. Be selfish and leave. Not everybody gets happy ending."
"My mom." Aman muttered, Avni looked at him, she sighed softly.
"I don't know Aman, Mrs. Mehta was his assistant before becoming his wife, she knows everything about him, she won't get out easily."
"I hate this." Juhi mutters, "We should not have done this." she tucks her hair tightly, Vidhyut hugs her from side. He mutters something comforting her.
"Breaking cycles are hard Juhi but few years from now, when your kids won't have to go through what you did, you will be glad you did this." Avni comforts her, she buried her face in her uniform's jacket, snuggling it.
"What about you? Where will you go?" It was Vidhyut who asked the questions, Avni glances at Neil who was now looking at her waiting for her to speak.
"I was going to go back to Nano and Ali but now I don't know," she admits.
"Can I come with you?" Neil whispered, looking at her, his eyes filled with hope only thing about his face which made it seem less lifeless, Avni looked down and reached to hold his hand, slow and steady steps, she told herself.
"No, I will find you when I'm ready for this." she glanced at her hand holding his, Neil looked at it too.
"You will?"
Avni nodded, she knew what they had was special whether it was friendship or more, she had ignored it for whole long because she was not ready to acknowledge it but right now after knowing something which had shook the foundation of her life. She was not ready for setting up foundation of something new.
Even after few time when they meet again and decide to keep this as friendship, she will let it happen because whatever bond they will share it will be special.
She ignored the bigger part of her wishing it would be other option. She needed to work on that.
"Aman don't let what he said define anything about you, okay?" she told him, Aman glanced up, he was still teary eyed.
"I realized, I was like that during the project," he hiccuped while speaking, "He was just so nice, I didn't knew why I was so intrested in him but then he was sad about his break up with this girl he dating. I was glad about it, I don't know how we kissed and then everything just spiralled on its own."
Riya rubbed his back as he spoke, "I was never intrested in girls, I thought it was because like Vidhyut says I haven't found the one but with him.it was so much easier, I was so afraid to tell you all."
"Aman you don't need to hide such a vital part of yourself from us, it doesn't matter if you like a girl or a guy." Riya comforted him.
"Honestly why would we care who you like till it's not mass murderer, that will be very suspicious of us." Karan spoke lightly, "Might seem like we like you in romantic way." everyone laughed lightly, even Aman smiled softly.
It was all okay at that moment.

It took me a year to complete this
story, I have loved and hated this book.
This book is no where perfect, there are plot holes, there are grammatical mistakes and what not? But it's still very close to me, it's first book I have finished writing!
About Aman and DD, many of you will not like it but its my story, I wanted them like that, I hinted it a lot too, you will notice.
It was my choice for Neil and Avni to not end up together as soon as story ended they have lot to navigate through, they are just twenty, people change, maybe in future like Avni thought they will meet again, and then they will love eachother the way they want.
I'm sorry if this disappointed you.
