A game is not a game without the players

"Why are there guards outside your door?", rather than an answer he was grabbed by two hands finding their way around his body.

"Are you hurt?", Killua shook his head, still being maneuvered around. He felt like a rag doll being tossed about every which way. Thinking it was over, he was taken off guard when the alpha lifted the collar of his garment attempting to peep. Annoyed with his husband, the younger of two sent an open palm smack across the tanned cheek. "Oww", immediately releasing the albino freeing his hand to rub his now burning cheek. "I was just checking to see if you hurt", Gon groaned, playing up the slap as though it was actually painful-both of them knew it wasn't.

"I told you I was fine", crossing his arms at his chest, turning away trying to hide his burning face. The older teen was a bit handsy, any other time Killua would become nervous and even fearful, but now he wasn't comfortable with it, he wasn't scared either. Maybe he was starting to warm up this husband of his, maybe.

"Your father is odd", the golden eyes looked up to meet the gaze of the white-haired teen. He didn't know whether to take that it was or to seek deeper into the statement. Killua was only one of the dozens of people who thought the exact thing, himself included but this was the first time he felt the need to understand why someone may think such a thing. Wanting to hear more, he prompted the smaller individual to continue, leading the omega to tell the events that happened right before he waltzed into the room. "I'm not afraid of him", he was finishing up his retelling, "just concerned".

That was more than enough for the present king to not like the idea. While it would pain him, he would be open to leaving for a few days, he trusted Mito and his staff to take care of his love. Between his father's sudden visit and a couple more alphas in his space around his mate, put him on edge.

He sat down absorbing the information he had just been given, thinking of solutions that would work but still fair to the albino. Locking him in his bedroom until the men left was the best solution but he had just gotten in the neutral area of the now Killua Freecss, there was no reason to mess that up so soon. The only other logical one would be to add multiple eyes on the omega throughout the duration of their trip. The omega would eventually find out what was going on but he wouldn't be extremely upset about it, as long as the guards and maid were discreet.

"Gon", his train of thought was interrupted by the light and innocent voice. "Were you listening to me?", the pale cheeks were puffed out, peeved from the idea that he was being ignored.

'Maybe I should ignore him more often', Gon thought to himself, seeing the adorable face the teen was making. It took every bit of him to hold back from pinching the soft cheeks and ogling over the omega. The face truly made his precious Ki look like a child, but perhaps that was an effect of his second gender. Figuring there was no use to try to lie and cover it up, he admitted his mind was preoccupied with others at the very moment.

"Well, think later, where's Mito? I'm hungry", he didn't need the beta woman to get food, he could easily ask any random servant but he enjoyed her company. She was the only person he could sit and have a real conversation with, though he was going to work on doing the same with his spouse. Right now he didn't feel like making an effort whatsoever, still being a bit exhausted from the day prior and tricked into a meeting with a stranger, for the most part, he was going to be the tanned king on the back burner until he regained his energy. "I want chocolate", he added.

The honey eyes blinked a few times, looking at the serious expression on the face of his beloved, assuming that his ears were deceiving him, but his eyes seemed to be on the same page. 'It's too early for that', he told himself, the rain clouds were hiding the sun, but from the time he got out of bed to now it hadn't been long, it was likely late morning. "How about something else?", something with more nourishment than sweets right after he woke up.
