"Well, baby sister," this was the scene that all had grown accustomed to, brother and sister sitting at the table early in the morning, both enjoying a steaming cup of coffee, "I'll be taking my leave today." His sister simply hummed in acknowledgment, and he had played a significant role in the events that took place the past couple of days. She would be pleased when he finally left so she could try to repair the damage just for someone else to come along and fuck it up; holding her mug in the air, she silently cheered to that. Noticing the reaction but deciding against saying anything, Ging backtracked and offered to stay longer if she needed him to, but she declined. "Well, the kingdom is flourishing, so I suppose you're right" he had always had faith in Mito, and her actions definitely reassured him.

"How long will you be away?" knowing she wouldn't receive a straight answer. But maybe, just maybe, he'll give enough away for her to get a hint. He hadn't visited or even written in seven years, and lately, he's been coming home and acting as if he had never left. But she knew that expecting him was much better than leaving it up to chance. At least she could get her mind right before whatever shenanigans he would pull next.

"That's really up to the Gods, now isn't it" the most 'Ging' answer she could've ever received, "they lead me."

Pinching the bridge of her nose, she just decided to play along, "and then the devil instructs your actions."

"Something like that," shrugging, "one has the method, and the other brings along the madness."

Afraid of the response if she asked which was which, she chaired the subject to one of her biggest concerns last night, "Can I ask you a favor?" seeing her brother's eyebrow raise, she knew that was an invitation to proceed, "could you get a replica of father's table made?", the request was genuine; of course, they had many things left behind from their parents but everything, even the small things they wanted to cherish and keep. Gon apologized to her and Ging surprisingly about breaking the wooden platform, but they wouldn't show him how truly upset they were. "From the same person who made the original" or their family if they had passed away. Her jaw almost detached from her head when he shook his head, "Ging what the h-"

"Gon already sent out a request this morning for the same thing." The sun was still hidden underneath the horizon when Gon came to his father asking for every detail of the table: the dimensions, the wood crafter, the type of wood used, and the list goes on and on; he wanted to ensure he didn't miss a thing before sending it off first thing this morning. "Hopefully, it'll be here within a week" they kinda wanted it rushed but preferred it done right rather than having it sooner. "He's remorseful."

She had figured that but was pleased to hear this, especially coming from Ging; it meant more than an apology. It meant those two could get along for a while to handle business; they were getting better at it. Ging had his good ways now and then. She would want nothing more than to integrate her brother into this household and find a place in the daily routine; his presence would be beneficial if he was in a favorable position and cut out his antics a bit more, but for now, she appreciated the small things. "Thank you" receiving a nod was enough for her.

After sharing the tender moment the two siblings shared, the alpha stood up, "I wish for the same things sometimes," he said as if he could read her thoughts. She supposed there were a few connections the siblings would always share; finally, he announced, "I'll be leaving." Blinking a few times, she was surprised as she had no clue he was leaving so soon, but Mito didn't question it; instead, she told him to have a safe trip. "I'll be away for a while," he said, walking towards the exit; it took a moment, but the ginger realized he had answered her previous question, it was still a pretty vague answer, but at least she knew what her brother meant by 'a while'.

After having a long night that bled into the morning, the king wanted to sleep in this morning; even if he didn't add last night, he still felt like he deserved a lazy day; his guests (and Killua's guests) had stressed his omega out which in turn stressed him out. He refused to move unless it was one, his mate needed him to, or two, his aunt required him to. Feeling the weight shift from his side to the waist, he had partly woken up the alpha. He didn't do much as it bothered him; it startled him a bit. Lightly tapping what he assumed to be one of his lover's thighs and mumbled something about Killua limiting his movement so that Gon could catch up on sleep. Feeling the warmth pressed against his chest, he thought it was alright to drift off again. Right as he was on the verge of dipping into a deep slumber, he felt continuous rocking on him once more. Perturbed he wasn't getting the rest he so desperately wanted, he cleared his throat, instantly stopping the rhythmic rocking. "Is there something on your mind?" he tried to address any concerns before attempting to get some shut-eye.
