Like I haven't been right for a whole week therefore a four day late chapter

"Damnit damnit damnit", Mito couldn't recall the last time she had used such foul language or the last time she had felt so much adrenaline pumping through her veins. Sprinting through the dimly lit hallways, blowing out every candle she paused by with the gust from her outstanding speed. Curtains would've been carried along in the artificial wind had they not been attached to the windows. She couldn't tell which was louder her footsteps or her breathing but she knew she had no time to choose at the moment. Tracking the couple wasn't difficult, hell their scent was so intense she wouldn't be surprised if all the alphas on the grounds were awakened when she opened the window earlier.

She had made up her mind that she would head directly towards the teens and if she ran into someone helpful she would enlist them for assistance and if they were too helpful, send them to search for Ging. "All of this is his fault", she mumbled under her breath, continuing to speed through the corridors. "Where are all the guards?", she complained to herself. That was it, tomorrow she was going to have a meeting with a particular blonde about upping the patrol staff around here. Barely able to make out a silhouette in the distance, she called out and waved a hand to demand said person's attention. Both she and the individual are their way towards one another.

"Lady Mito", one of the best people she could count on at this very moment. "I heard someone screaming", the brunette said catching her breath; it would only make sense if the lead maid heard her yells from earlier, their bedrooms were relatively close. With no time to stand by and explain, Palm was invited to follow the ginger woman as she went into detail about everything that happened. "He escaped?!", yes, no, sorta kinda...Those words made it seem like the older woman was keeping the albino teen as a hostage but that wasn't how she saw it at the time. She thought of it as protecting him which she was technically doing, just in an extreme fashion. Mito didn't say anything simply because admitting that meant that she was irresponsible and there was no way in hell she would admit that.

The smell of the king and queen started to grow faint, meaning a few things could've happened: the two beta women were going in the wrong direction -Mito doubted that-, the two teens levels had gone back to normal -damn near impossible, they were in such close proximity of each other the levels should be amplified if anything-, or Gon was taking Killua back to their chamber -most probable option-. Irritated with this entire situation, the well-maintained hands gripped the skirt of her dress, lifting it from the floor. Granting herself more mobility the first advisor fled the current area, aiming to close in on the scent before the smell became too dull to precisely locate. It all happened so quickly Palm almost didn't catch it, but once it all registered she followed suit.

She was enclosed in darkness, the flames on the candles on the wall blew out by Mito's speed, the maid only managed to keep up because of the rapid steps that echoed in the night.

Running with no visual would be fairly difficult for most but the position she held made memorizing the layout of the castle an absolute must. And following the sound of someone's pace wasn't hard especially when you trusted them completely.

The steps came to an abrupt halt, if Palm's heart wasn't beating fast enough beforehand it surely was about to rip itself out of her chest. She was still a good distance away from the adolescents, due to the scent remaining quite mild. The absence of no guide did not deter her though, she continued in the direction she last heard the steps. The further she went, a quiet quarrel was heard between familiar voices.

"Ging, what do you call yourself doing?", her eyes didn't deceive her, a single lit candle looked over the royal sibling and the troublesome guest. Mito had completely forgotten about her current objective, enraged from seeing her brother conserving with the enemy.
