I've been away but I've been working, so I'm back with a triple feature
I was going to space them out but I'll forget so I'm just posting them all now

1/3 of my triple feature

"You look horrible", Ging was sitting at the nook table early in the morning as he usually did, his son and sister sitting across from him. "You remind me of your aunt", he added before taking a sip of his coffee. He earned himself a menacing death glare but Mito chose not to respond, rather tending to her nephew.

Gon had shown up in the middle of the siblings' 'pleasant' breakfast discussion, he was fairly rested but still mentally exhausted from the evening beforehand. He decided to snag a cup of coffee whilst the omega lay in bed still sleeping soundly when he left. "Thank you father", Gon knew going back and forth with the man would only get him going but ignoring him completely wasn't a good option either. "Your unsolicited commentary has always been my favorite", his voice dull.

"Speech wasn't bad either, but the council wants to meet and discuss it", which had almost gone completely over the king's head until reminded of it. After every speech, the council liked to go through and dissect it line from line, word from word to pick out the little things he could've reworded, left out, or added in. And Gon wouldn't find it so much of a chore if he didn't have to burn half a day on something that should only last less than an hour, but of course, they loved to drag things out. "No one's shown up yet bu-"

"I'm not going", Gon stated, his aunt jolted alert and looking at him with a bit of a certain look, "I promised Killua, me and him time", the expression softened knowing the place he was coming from was pure. Nevertheless, it was difficult to get the others to be on board with that idea, they'll just say to bring the omega, at least they seem to like gushing over him. She co-signed the idea but she'd need more people than herself to go along. Maybe she could pull aside a few early birds and get them to agree with her; her and Biscuit's votes alone would be enough but the council leader loved to argue with the beta woman.

Mito sat brainstorming, when a maid walked in, obviously worried about something or someone, "your majesty", Gon turned to listen to what had to be said, but he quickly directed when he heard loud wailing coming from the hallway leading to the open area. "We found the queen in the corridors", she explained, Gon immediately jumping to his feet and going to meet the younger teen, "crying out for you". Gon had no clue what had happened but he pulled the sobbing albino into his arms, carrying and soothing him back to his seat. Mito and Ging exchanged a look at how quickly the crying subsided, once in the presence of the alpha.

"He's been like this since yesterday", Gon briefly explained what took place after the meeting. He watched as his aunt and father absorbed the information; neither of them had told him about the incident during breakfast yesterday.

"He doesn't seem to smell any different", Ging pointed out, "probably just separation anxiety", the man shrugged without giving any more explanation than that.

"Why would he smell different?", the younger alpha was curious, disregarding the second part of the statement.

"Oh nothing", Mito would much rather address that at a later time.

Not pressing the issue, Gon took his attention to what the 'diagnosis' his father had given to the omega's current behavior, "what am I supposed to do about his anxiety?", he feels as though he's heard the phrase in passing once before, probably when he was a bit younger, but it was never explained. Both Mito and Ging both shook their heads, "nothing?", he asked, to which he received a nod from them.

"It'll pass once he feels like you won't abandon him"

Abandon. Gon would never abandon Killua for as long as he lived and even then he'd be fighting tooth and nail to return to the land of the living to be with his beloved again. "What? How?", he began to question, then he remembered the discussion he and his aunt had just two days prior. He wondered if simply promising to never desert the omega would make a difference, he tried it but the grip on his shirt didn't loosen and his guardians both facepalmed.
