"Oh have I missed you" the large man had his arms outstretched, waiting for a particular omega to enter his embrace. Mito looked out of the corner of her eye, seeing how the couple would react to the gesture; Silva wasn't her favorite person either, though she's only met him twice, but his reputation wasn't pleasant. Though she didn't want Gon to act before thinking, he could be very reckless with that being the case. "Has it been that long?" taking a step forward toward the teens, "you don't even recognize your father." Everyone's eyes and memories served them well enough to know who they saw, the visiting king, to another step. This time, the beta turned her head around completely to see how the rulers were taking it.

Killua was frozen as though he had just seen a ghost, liquid accumulating in his eyes, along with a tight grip on his mate's shirt. The sight made her heart cry out for him; being caught off guard by someone who was so neglectful and them acting as if everything was okay was a slap in the face.

On the other hand, seeing her nephew was a sign she needed to do something. She noticed his jaw moving ever so slightly, he was grinding his teeth, already not good. Gon securely wrapped his arms around the omega; Killua couldn't move if he wanted to. But by the look in his eyes, she knew she had to step in; the honey marbles had been overcome with the red flames of the underworld, she hated to think the child she raised would become violent, but she also knew not to test it. Silva saw the same thing she did, yet he chose to continue forward, was he that much of an ass or just stupid. "They woke up not too long ago, so give them a little space to become fully functional" if the first advisor couldn't do anything else, she could diffuse a situation. "They had a long day," and the day before and the day before that. The large arms dropped, but she could still say he wasn't buying it, "Ging should be somewhere near," any other time, she might feel something about using her brother as bait, but today, he deserved it. Hearing the former king was at home made the intimidating man go out and seek him.

Quickly running to close and lock the door, Mito sighed in relief; this episode had settled this, but now she had other things to tend to. She heard her nephew calling for her in a low and sinister voice, "I had no clue he was coming," It likely wasn't Ging because Silva was surprised to hear he was somewhere in the castle. "I'll go get more information," she swore, but her nephew wanted the investigation to wait. He beckoned for her to approach them, and she followed his orders, realizing the omega had begun hyperventilating.

If his day wasn't bad enough already, this, without a doubt, took the cake. Locked in a room with his mate and aunt, the young king tried the multiple techniques he was taught to console the albino teen. Digging his fingers deep into the white fluff, he massaged the scalp of the younger teen, hoping to get a positive reaction. All while doing this, Mito had one of the tiny pale hands in one of hers, using the fingertips of her other hand to slowly glide them against the warm skin of the now terrified teen.

The spectrum of emotions Killua had felt in just this one day was more than most persons could handle but being a mere omega was impossible to fathom. Continuing like this wouldn't be good for him, though, and wouldn't be suitable for anyone involved. "Come on, you were doing so well" Gon praised his recent behavior. He'd be damned if he allowed his father-in-law to come and ruin his and his aunt's hard work with a single walkthrough. "You're with me, not him" in hindsight, he felt like the words were helping him more than Killua, but he realized he was slowly talking down the omega as well. His breathing had become steady, though his skin was red and his body shaking. Whispering sweet words and soothing humming were just a few techniques the sunkissed teen had learned and been told about to help tame the anxiety of his lover. "I'm here...stay calm", he wasn't asking for Killua to act normal. That was a difficult request seeing his father in disgust but maybe he could at least get his omega to bring it down a level.
