Two updates back to back, must be my birthday (it is btw)
Something was different about this morning, glancing out the window it was safe to say it was early, earlier than what the omega would usually wake up with no assistance. His body must've gotten up on its own with anticipation that the blonde alpha woman would come banging on the door any minute now. He decided to watch the sunrise as he waited for her, the bright ball colliding with the sky warping the clouds around it, shining life into everything the rays came into contact with. The kingdom had started a new day, while they were sitting in bed waiting for someone to fetch him, "did she forget me?", no that's crazy, Bisky had come every other day so perhaps unforeseen circumstances delayed her arrival. Going back and forth in his head wasn't as productive as he thought it would be, then it hit him when he heard the birds chirping their joyous tune. He hadn't been a witness to morning songs of the feathery creatures for a while now it was something he took for granted, he usually overslept the flying animals on their merry way by the time he got up or he was up super early but not outside or near a window, but listening to it again after a while gave him a tad bit of reassurance. Tossing off the sheets, he lifted his head from the incredibly soft pillow and crept off the bed. Making his way to the door, opening a crack he peeked out to it just in case the alpha woman was there, it was a possibility she was simply testing him again. But no, the immediate hallway was empty as usual, okay he was starting to get worried, 'did something terrible happen', shaking his head he tried to push that thought to the furthest place in his mind. Rather than just sitting around twiddling his thumbs he'd be proactive and go look for the fill-in advisor himself, a week wasn't up so she was surely still in the castle unless there was truly an emergency. Stepping into the hall, the teen had no clue where Biscuit would be if she wasn't with him, maybe he should start by looking for the trusty maid. He started down the stairs before realizing that he had no idea where Palm spent most of her time, he only saw her accompanying someone of higher status but that wasn't her primary duty, and this week she's been with the blonde. Taking a seat on the bottom of the current flight of stairs, the omega began to brainstorm because he was back at square one, "maybe...no that's a horrible plan", asking every servant he encountered if they had seen either of the women would be too time-consuming. Resting his elbows on his knees and his chin in his hands, he should probably just start his day and he'll likely just run into either one of them.
Making up his mind, he got back on his feet and continued down the stairs and corridors, there were a few maids he spoke to, and he did, in fact, ask them for the whereabouts of the blond and brunette but none of them had seen or heard from either of them this morning, a few suggested checking Palm's personal room and the various but Killua didn't quite remember where neither of them was and he thought of that a bit over the top; so he was back at a dead-end even the, "I'm sure someone knows", said as the last remark as he thanked them wasn't good enough he had Gon and Mito in the back of his mind but he'd prefer not the bother them. Heading down towards the breakfast nook, he would have something to sit on his stomach before he started his search back up.
"Oh your majesty", he was greeted by two women both wearing aprons who had seemingly just finished up in the kitchen seeing that's the door they exited from while walking into the nook. "Good morning", he was about to open his mouth and ask for something to eat but the next person exiting the kitchen caught his attention.
"You two should be grateful because...", untying the outer skirt, the brunette was so absorbed in scolding the other two it took her a second to acknowledge the queen standing there. "It's about time I go check on your majesty", taking a look out of the window.
"No need, I'm right here", following the voice, hazel eyes blinked a few times ensuring it was truly the young queen before her. Forgetting all else she was about to say, she rushed over to the teen, tossing her apron to one of the maids standing there. "I'm fine....I just woke up not too long ago", she bombarded him with questions, her main task this week was to care for him after all. "I'm hungry", Killua thought it best to alert her now before she began to ask him several other things. She asked one of the other maids to grab the things they had whipped up in the kitchen and bring them out. As they waited, they walked over and took a seat at the small table.
