(Y/n's POV)
---
We entered into the room, where there are purple bricks, and dried red leaves. Frisk went somewhere and whispered something. I didn't bother her, and instead waited for her.
I'm still scared at the fact that I've fallen into the Underground, and not being able to go back, but... for some reason, this enjoys me a lot, because I get to see these kind monsters! And I also get to see my long-lost sister once again.
"Welcome to your new home, innocent ones. Allow me to educate you in the operation of the Ruins." She started stepping on the four buttons and flipped the switch on the wall.
"The Ruins are full of puzzles, ancient fusions between diversion and doorkeys. One must solve them to move from room to room." She then entered into the next room.
In the next room, Toriel stood there, waiting for us.
"To make progress here, you will need to trigger several switches. Do not worry, I have labelled the ones that you need to flip." She instructed.
Frisk went to the labled switch, completing the puzzle. Toriel and I applaused.
"Splendid! I am proud of you, little one. Let us move to the next room." She continues on. I gave Frisk a pat on the head
"You did great! I didn't know you could solve it." I said, Frisk rubbed her head and smiled.
The next room...
"As a human living in the UNDERGROUND, monsters may attack you. You will need to be prepared for this situation." She said...
"However, worry not! The process is simple. When you encounter a monster, you will enter a FIGHT. While you are in a FIGHT, strike up a friendly conversation. Stall for time. I will come to resolve the conflict. Practice talking to the dummy." She continued.
Both of us walked up to the said dummy and entered a FIGHT. The same scene fron before, flashed into my mind.
*You encountered the Dummy! A voice said.
There are four buttons in front of us. FIGHT, ACT, ITEM, MERCY. Frisk chose the ACT button, and then 'Check'
*A cotton heart and a button eye. You are the apple of my eye. The voice once again said.
It was my turn. I picked ACT, and then 'Talk'
"Hello! It is nice to meet you!" I said.
*...
*It doesn't seem much for a conversation
*Toriel seems happy with you! The voice said. And the battle ended.
"Very good! You are very good! Let us move on to the next room." She said and exited. Frisk and I followed her.
"Dear, you look quite older from the girl, what is your name, and how old are you, child?" Toriel suddenly asks me in the middle of walking, I can't help but giggle.
"My name is (Y/n) (L/n), I'm 20 years old. Pleasure to meet you, Ms. Toriel!" I replied, she was surprised for a second and then smiled.
"Well, I suppose I shall not call you 'child', can I? And, no need for formalities, it's best to call me Toriel or anything you want." She said with a giggle.
"No, no! It's fine! You can still call me anything you like. And, yes... understood!" I replied. Toriel and I did a small laugh. It's like talking to parents in a conference, well, most teachers expect that.
"Oh! Here we are, the next puzzle!" She stopped and we looked. There were spikes all over the bridge.
"This is the puzzle, but..." she put up both of her hands in front of us. "Here, take my hand for a moment..."
We took her hands, one on each, and started walking. By the time she stepped on a single square, the spikes lowered, one after the other, each step we took.
Now, the puzzle has been finished, she said with a slight worry in her voice.
"Puzzles may seem a little dangerous for now..." and she entered the next room.
We looked at each other and followed after her...
