Ms. Teach (Sans x Reader)

Just Breathe...

I slept with Sans again. It was a nice evening after all the playing and games by the gym. It led me to somewhere, or someplace I've barely recall when I started to close my eyes and sleep.

-- Dream --

"You can do it!" The instructor said, and a boy was standing next to him, as a girl was climbing to the sky with her magic platforms.

The boy was a human-looking monster, or supposedly... a human-monster descendant. He has (h/c) hair, and purple and white eyes (he has heterochromia). He's wearing a white shirt, a black-colored vest with a fuchsia symbol on the right, black trousers ,and grey shoes to finish. He is seemingly wielding a little staff of purple, while watching her do an exercise.

The girl is a child of a human wizard from the Surface. She had light blue hair up to her waist (for now, her hair is tied up in a high ponytail) and blue eyes. Wearing a navy blue turtleneck sweater, a white skirt up to her knees, and brown long boots.

As the girl was going to step on one of the floating rocks, she tripped and fell off, but she's holding to the edge.

"Ugh! Help me!" The girl cried, as she grabbed on the edge on one of the floating rocks, but she's about to fall. Much to the tutor's surprise, the young boy ran, with his glowing purple eye and a pair of white horns appearing on his head. With his staff, he swung it, making it launch a platform to save the girl from falling.

There she fell, but safely landed on the platform the boy made. He ran to see if she's alright.

"Oh no! You okay?" He exclaimed while running towards her.

"Hey- ouch!" She yelped as she felt pain in her foot. He quickly let's go of her grasp, and see blood on the ground. He gasped.

"I... think I scraped my ankle from slipping off the islands..." She mumbled.

"Just... sit still, okay. I'll heal you..." He said. She watched as he healed her wound. She stared at it in awe.--

My thoughts are interrupted by mumbling and someone in pain or crying. 

I looked behind me, and I saw Sans tossing and turning in his sleep. I saw his eye glowing cyan and yellow. What is going on?

"Baby blue? Are you okay?" I asked him, but he didn't seem to hear me

"Sans?" I called his name, a bit louder, but not enough to snap him out of his thoughts

Suddenly, I heard a noise, he summoned a huge blaster. He's attempting to aim it at me. I thought quickly and covered the blaster with my shielding powers. 

I tried my best to hold it in, but to no avail, the shield shattered, and the blaster broke free, aiming at me again. I held Sans' skull, his luminescent tears falling from his sockets.

"Sans, what's happening to you?" I asked in a slight shout, he stared at me with his scared eyes. One eye was pitch black, and the other was about to ignite a cyan color.

"n-no! get away from me!" He screamed. I tried calming him, but he's pushing me away. He shot his blaster at me, and I earned a scar by my arm, but it healed in just a minute.

"Sans, let me explain, this isn't like you!" I said, and I touch his skull once more, and tried calming him again with my magic.

"Sans, breathe..." I said, and he stopped crying and looked shocked. His pinpricks are a bit shaky. He looked scared after all of this.

"It's okay... you can tell me what's wrong..." I reassured, in a calming tone. He twitches a bit.

"If you're not ready yet... just breathe with me..." I said. 

"Breathe in... and breath out. Slowly, but... surely..." I said. We did a bit of breathing exercise, and he calmed down. He looked at me, and took a sigh.

"...that was, awful." Sans said bluntly

"Hey, baby blue? What's wrong, was someone bothering you?" I asked him

"it's nothing... it's just a bad dream. and, did i wake you up?" Sans replied

"You woke me up, but... I could clearly tell you're not okay." I said

"it's nothing, it's nothing." Sans said, waving his hands

"Sans, please. Stop lying to yourself, you're not fine." I said, in a shaky voice

"i-i just... i-i don't want you to--" He broke down, and wept in my arms. He hugged me tightly, his pained voice in my ear melted my heart. I don't want him to feel this way. He hugged me even tighter.

"i hate it, i hate to think about this anymore..." Sans talked through the tears. I hushed him

"You can tell me... what's wrong...?" I said

"i... just had a dream a-about *sniff* the monsters a-are getting killed. they-they killed my brother, and... s-soon enough, they'll k-kill you too...!" He cried harder

"i hate it so much... teach. i don't wanna lose you..." His voice shaky from all the crying

"Now, now..." I mumbled

"...I'm trying to process all this event going to happen... and... I'm going to be honest..." I said

"We don't know what'll happen in the future." I said

"But... we could make it better, without anyone being killed. I don't know if we could get our happy ending, but... I know I will" I said, smiling

Sans was surprised at first, but he managed to smile. 

"So... are you, okay now?" I asked

"hehe... better than ever. thanks teach, you're the best." Sans said, wiping off his tears with his shirt. I giggled

"Well, I try to be the best I could... so, I appreciate the... err, praise." I said, rubbing my head

"So... I think it's midnight, and we've been up for a few minutes already. Could we go back to sleep now?" I said, yawning.

"whatever you say, teach. let's go *yawn* back to sleep..." Sans said, and I lay down on the bed with him, and started to sleep. The dream where I stopped had brought me in again.

-- Dream --

"Umm, what is your name...?" Alethea asked the boy, while he was tending her wound with bandages.

"Hmm? Oh, forgot to introduce myself, huh? The name's Alexis, Alexis Rockwood!" He replied, pointing at himself.

"Oh! Nice to meet you, my name is Alethea Wisewater!" She introduced while beaming at him. The boy blushed at her cheery personality.

"Huh? Was there something I'd said?" Alethea uttered

"Oh no! It's nothing." Alexis said.

"Oh dear, you almost fell of the floating islands! Good thing Mr. Rockwood saved you!" Alexis waved at her and she blushed. Both the tutor and Alexis laughed and went their way.

So... their names are... Alethea Wisewater and Alexis Rockwood. I'll make sure to remember them... Thanks, mom and dad!
