A/n: Hey! Play this video above to actually feel the atmosphere of Sans and (Y/n) singing. I'll let you know when you'll play this video. Thanks!

(Sans' POV)

I felt worried when (Y/n)'s eyes are a bit droopy and her legs are wobbly. What's happening to her?

"Baby blue- huff... huff..." She panted. I got surprised at first when she just stood there, unable to move. And at the moment, she fainted into the snow.

Oh sh*t.

"teach? teach, wake up! are you okay?" I yelled while holding her. She looked a bit pale than her usual and vivid (s/c) skin.

"S-sans! What happened?" I heard Alphys shout with concern.

"she... she fainted..." I responded.

"Wait... l-let's check her breathing and pulse..." She put two fingers on her neck, and she also examined her chest. She felt relieved.

"i-is she okay?" I asked, and she nodded.

"D-don't worry, she's just unconscious from all the running, but s-she might wake up anytime soon." She reassured.

"Just don't try to teleport to your house, just w-walk home instead..." She instructed, and I followed her orders. I manipulated her soul, carrying her body with it, and walked to our house.

"O-oh no! My child, is she alright?" Toriel ran to me.

"yeah, just unconscious." I replied.

"Perhaps... I saw a little house by the side of town, maybe you would let her stay in there..." She said.

"wait, really?"

"Yes, she will be fine in there, Sans. I have cleaned the house up and she may rest easy and peacefully. Do not worry." She reassured and patted me on the shoulder.

"thanks, old lady."

"You are welcome, Sans. And additionally, Frisk told me that you are trying hard to protect (Y/n). It seems that you are her 'boyfriend,' correct?" I blushed at her question, and she laughed in response.

~...~

We were at (Y/n)'s soon-to-be house. I laid her gently by the couch. I looked around for a bit...

There is a little fireplace by the couch, a medium kitchen, dining room for 6 maybe, and her own bedroom upstairs.

I ran back downstairs to check if she's okay. I looked at her once again, but she hadn't moved or talked yet, still knocked unconscious. I felt worried for her.

I thought of something else to do rather than just waiting for her to wake up. I took out my phone and opened Spotify... the song that I sang when I was younger came in. I could remember the lyrics to it.

(A/n: Play the video!)
The piano from the music started playing... a calming tune. I took a deep breath, and started to sing.

"thought i found a way...
thought i found a way out..."

"but you never go away...
so i guess I gotta stay now..."

"oh, i hope some day i'll make it out of here...
even if it takes all night or a hundred years...
need a place to hide, but i can't find one near...
wanna feel alive, outside i can't fight my fear...!"

"isn't it lovely...? all alone...
heart made of glass, my mind of stone.
tear me to pieces... skin to bone...
hello, welcome... home." I sang, wishing that (Y/n) could sing with me in this way.
