The universe is always speaking to us...

Sending us little messages, causing coincidences and serendipities, reminding us to stop, to look around, to believe in something else, something more.

We left the place after Bash made sure I knew how happy he was that I paid. That man was the CEO of one of the top group of companies yet will act like the most broke person to have ever existed. I still don't know how he did not make a scene of being a broke ass college student.

Oh wait, he did.

The rest of the day went by as any other day does, with meetings with other companies and Mia's wedding planner. With just two weeks left before the wedding date, everyone is panicky and frustrated.

The time I spend in the office I literal heaven as compared to the hours I am not working. Which is why I am even more grateful for Finn hanging out with me the whole day making sure I was OK.

The bridesmaid's dresses and the groomsmen's suits were done. The bride and groom's clothes were done too; it was only Bash and I left now. For some reason they have been having troubles with our clothes and now that James' attendance was confirmed this was seen as the right time to have him fitted too.

And that was what we were doing that evening. Bash, Finn and I were summoned to the tailor's by my mum, Mia and mama Knight.

When we got there, James was getting fitted and he gave us a pained smile. The others were sitting on the couch as they each spoke into their phones finalizing something or the other.

"Oh, it's good that you got here. Honey, please try your dress and Bash, Finn you both try your suits. The final fitting has been done, if all is good today we can take the clothes away." My mum rushed out the moment she saw us.

We nodded at her and went to find an assistant to help us out. A couple minutes later I was in a changing room fighting with the gown that was chosen for me by Mia. It was lavender in color, like the other bridesmaids, but the design of the dresses were different.

For the other bridesmaids, the skirts of their gown were simple and only their tops differed. My gown though, had pleats in the front and there were flowers climbing up towards the waist.

Since Bash was both the best man and my date, his suit had to include lavender in some way or other as did the other groomsmen's. Mia thought it would be fun to have the whole suit be a lavender colored one with a white shirt and as much as I hate to say it, that man looked really good in it.

After finishing up there, all of us headed to a restaurant near the boutique. Mia and my mum had made sure that no one other than the two of them and I knew what my dress looked like.

This amount of secrecy for the bride made sense, but for me?
