There's nothing like deep breaths after laughing that hard. Nothing in the world like a sore stomach for the right reasons.

"The Knott Creek?" dad and Papa Knight exclaimed.

"Yes, the Knott Creek." I replied with a smile.

It was a place that papa Knight and dad had found when they were in high school. The two of them along with some of their friends cleaned up the area and built a deck. Went as far as to convince their fathers to buy the surrounding area so they could maintain it.

They then cleared up the surrounding of a meadow close to the creek and built a wooden cabin. Doing as much of it as they could, with their own hands.

Yes, Knott stood for Knight plus Scott.

Not much of originality, I know.

Where else did you think we got the idea for the Scray dip?

Anyway, back onto more about the creek.

When we were younger we used to go to the cabin often for weekend getaways or a pick-me-up vacation.

When Mia showed me the pictures of the place it brought back so many memories, and I realized it had been years since I went there. And I knew it was where I had to get hitched to Ebby making a new memory in a place that held a gabazillion other memories.

"That place is perfect for a fall wedding. Good choice, kids." Mama Knight said.

"Well, I had sort of forgotten about that place, Mia showed us pictures when she came over in the morning to discuss venues." I said and the two ladies chuckled.

"So, if you want more oranges then we could do a Halloween week wedding, if you want more chills then early November." Illuka declared directing our focus on the dates and all of us started talking about it.

By the end of the dinner we had narrowed it to two dates, 28 October and 9 November.

Mum and mama Knight told us to sleep on the options and then decide, much to Mia's horror.

The next day when Ebby and I woke up we talked to each other and decided to flip a coin. As a random quote on Google says,

When in a dilemma, flip a coin. Not because it decides for you, but for the moment it's in the air, you realize what you're hoping for.

I handed Ebby a coin and he flipped it and almost the next second I shouted 9th November. Ebby chuckled and said he was good with it, since it would probably give him the chance to wear a coat for his marriage.
