The Strange Knocking

The room was dimmed as he removed his foot out of the boots, the only piece of clothing left before he came down to his boxers and shirt. He sighed loudly, rubbing his hand over the scar on his chest. Cold hands wrapped around his torso, causing him to jump.

"Dammit Jack," Hiccup chuckled.

Jack leaned over Hiccups shoulder with a wolfish grin. "Am I to cold for you?" He asked.

Hiccup looked over his shoulder and kissed Jack's nose, a bright light shone causing Jack to let go and fall onto the king sized bed. He was spread out like a starfish, glaring up at the ceiling. Hiccup chuckled, throwing himself back on top of Jack's stomach.

Jack grunted. "Your very heavy!" Jack shouted.

"Whoops, thought you wanted me to fall, pumpkin," Hiccup said with a chuckle.

"Do I need to freeze your back again?" Jack asked, lifting his head up. "No? Then get off!" He wiggled from underneath Hiccups massive weight and sat up.

"Rude," Hiccup chuckled. He turned his head to Jack and his smile died. "How was it like when I died?" He asked.

Jacks good mood seemed to have twisted into something sad. "It was a horrible thought, something I seriously don't want to think about again." He said.

"Have you even talked to the guardians since that night? I heard they called me an inhuman abomination." Hiccup said, sitting up to face Jack.

Jack clenched his teeth. "Don't remind me, I haven't talked to them for like 4 years now," Jack said. He lifted a brow at Hiccup. "Why did you bring up your death now? Its been well over a couple years since that has happened, so why now?" Jack asked.

Hiccup thought back at his conversation with the moon and the secret he kept from Jack and shrugged. He couldn't tell Jack about anything that really happened that night. But this secret stayed locked in his mind with an impossible lock.

"Was just curious, I like hearing you talk about it. It gives me calm that I was missed." He said.

Jack smiled and grabbed a fistful of Hiccups hair, smacking his lips with Hiccups. They chuckled under the pressure as Hiccup grabbed Jacks freezing skin and threw him on the bed. Hiccup got on top and restrained Jacks wrists above his head. He leaned in and kissed him on the lips then the corner of his mouth. He made his way down to his neck when a loud thud hit the door.

Jack jumped, his breathing rapid and his heart beating faster. Hiccup got off of him and lifted his hands up to reveal light. Jack jumped up and raised his staff. The thumping repeated like a frantic heartbeat.

"Help!" Shouted a voice. The thunder boomed into the room, but they hadn't realized that it was raining. Once at the door, Hiccup reached for the knob but Jack tugged his shoulder.

"Wait, you never know who it could be," Jack whispered.

"We have weapons, what harm could they do?" Hiccup asked.

Jack bit his lip, unsure of this. Hiccup twisted the knob and opened the door. It flew open and something cloaked ran into the room. Jack slammed the door with his powers and looked up to see his hair sticking up.

"What was tha- oh Jack, that hair though." Hiccup chuckled.

"This is no time for ga-"

"Thank you for letting me in to your place, it was freezing out there," Jack and Hiccup stopped their bickering, turning towards the sound of the voice to see a small hooded figure standing in the middle of the room.

"And you are?" Asked Jack.

"I'm Alexis, but you can call me Alex," she said, removing her hoodie to reveal thick brown hair that went past her shoulders but her bangs lined her forehead. Her eyes were bright brow.

"Okay Alex, why are you here?" Jack asked, lowering his staff.

"I need your help," she said. "Badly."

(A/N: haha sorry for the wait for a third book. Okay so the plot is going to be that they meet mysterious people-with a little secret- and they need help defeating a man by the name of mandrake (yes the one from Epic) and I was thinking Pitch but I am still not sure about that yet. That is about all I can tell you, so yes I am mixing a couple things here but I decided to go off on a different plot than the previous ones :3 Enjoy!
