Last Kidnap: Part 2

*Jack's P.O.V*

Jack glanced over at Alex who was grunting every chance she had, which by the way was super annoying. He glanced over at Bunny who was busy at work looking for something about Hiccup when Jack heard a loud thud, causing him to jump out of his skin. Everyone else didn't even budge. Jacks curiosity peaked and he stood up, not attracting anyone's attention and walked out of the room. He walked down the hallway and instantly got a wiff of something rotten, making his head instantly fuzzy.

He covered his mouth, coughing up what felt like a lung. He looked up and saw that there was a room above which was the one that Hiccup was in. Getting up from the ground, trying to keep awake, he walked over to it and landed heavily on the door, his joints feeling weak. He glanced through the door window and saw that no one was in there.

"North!" Jack called, sliding down the door and coughing into his hand. Shortly after, the guardians and Alex came rushing over, suddenly stopping short at the stench.

"Jack! What is that sme...?" Alex asked, but instead of finishing it, her eyes rolled back into her head and she fell forward, luckily being caught by Tooth.

"Its... Hiccup... He isn't... In there." Jack explains, his eyes rolling to the back if his head as well. This time, sandy was the one to catch him. The other guardians weren't affected by it, only that the stench was horrid. They dragged Jack and Alex to the other side of the wall until they opened the door, peaking in to see the melted chain on the ground and the window completely opened. You could see a small sign if struggle and that made North worry.

"Where is he?" Bunny asks.

"What is this smell?" Tooth asks.

"I don't know... Maybe it vas Mandrake like jack has said." North explains. "Ve need to get him back fer jack. Ve put him in there."

"Jack is not gonna be happy to hear his love is gone. Yet after almost nine years it still feels weird saying that." Tooth explains, looking down at jack and Alex.

"We still need to get down to what Hiccup has. Put jack and Alex on the couch. We will continue the search, alright, mates?" Bunny says.

The guardians nodded and picked hissup and Alex up and set them down on the couches before going back into the study and reading some more.

*Hiccups Unknown area*

Hiccups head was spinning but somehow, he managed to open his eyes without getting a major headache. He grunted and looked around only to be met with darkness. He could feel his hands were cold, but he didn't fully understand why until he tried to push upwards. His hands screamed in pain when he made the slightest jostle. He winced in pain and tried to move his hands to see if it was working. He pushed forward and heard the sound of chains clanking together.

He was chained to the wall? Who would do something like that? Why chain him up?

His thought were answered when the metal door shoved open and a bug or rat looking creature comes in with what looked like a daily meal. He glanced up and saw Hiccup, smiling when he did so.

"Don't min' ye arms. Its precaution." He explained, smiling.

"Pre... Precaution?" Hiccup strained, coughing as he did so.

"Boss said ye were dangerous. He'll be in n' a moment." He said and turned around to walk back out. Hiccup was about to protest but his stomach cut him off. He felt like he was gonna be sick. He turned to the side and wheezed as much as he could.

"Its not as fun being poisoned now is it?" Mandrake asks, entering the chambers.

"Is... That what that stuff was? Poison?" He asks through his wheezing.

His smirk was visible. "It is my own creation. You like?"

"Screw you..." He says.

"Well that isn't very nice." He laughs. "Its just so I know you won't leave. Its only meant for youngins so you will not be able to function. Its just so that I can guarantee you'll still be here even when we start the testing." Mandrake explains.

"Testing?!"

"Well I need to know the extent of your power. So I'll be keeping a close eye on you and the antidote will be given to you when the time comes. Hope you enjoy your stay," he says, laughing as he backs out of the room.

"Wait! Don't leave me!" The door closes and hiccup slumps where he is. "And he left." He looked up at the chains and sucked in a breath, trying his hardest to wiggle free. After what felt like hours, hiccup finally gave up and fell back asleep.

*North palace*

"I FOUND IT!" Tooth exclaimed, flying up and rushing towards them. She shoved her book in their face and smiled wildly. "Its shadow manipulation. Every time a seed is planted in a human and is touched by the pod of life, that human gains the powers of the shadows!" Tooth squealed.

"So Hiccup is being controlled by the shadows?" Emma asks, sitting up from her book.

"More like he was born. He's still hiccup its just his powers have changed." Tooth explains. "We need to wake up Jack!" She rushed over to the living room and set the book down. She turned to Jack and started shaking him.

"Jack! Jaaaaaack!" She said. He slowly stirred but his body hurt with every movement.

"Tooth?" He asks, looking up at them. "What happened?" He asks, still not finding the stregnth to stirr.

"We found out what happened to Hiccup! What mandrake did. Its very complicated yet very easy." She explains.

"You.. Ah... You did?" Jack asks, sitting up on the couch. He hurt so much and felt like very movement was rather laborious.

"Jack, are you oaky?" Emma asks, stepping over to him.

"Yeah... Just.. My body hurts." He explains.

"Was it that stuff he breathed in? Could it have done this to him?" Emma asks.

"I don't know. Could be. But we need to figure out our next course of action." Bunny says.

Jack looks down at his twitching fingers and glares. "Mandrake took Hiccup didn't he?" Jack asks.

"He did.." Tooth says quietly.

Jack nodded and sucked in a ragged breath. "Then its clear what our next motive is. We need to rescue Hiccup. We need to get him back. No matter what it takes. Even if we need Queen Tara's help." He explains, struggling to get up.

"I'm with Jack. We need to get him back." Alex says, slowly waking up beside him.

"Then let's think of a course of action." Bunny says, and then started discussing a plan.
