"Do you even know where your going oh so wise Frostling?" Hiccup called, riding Toothless in the cold air, Alex squeezing his stomach raw, trying to hold on for dear life. Jack rolled his eyes and turned to face him.

"Listen, I know where we're going. That's all you need to know, dragon dork." He said and continued forward with Emma. Hiccup sighed and watched as the siblings flew right next to each other, talking about something he couldn't quite hear. It frustrated him very much to say the least.

"Is it just me, or do you feel watched?" Alex asked, looking back and regretting her decision. She gripped him tight. "I know I've flown high before, but for some reason this height scares the beezewax out of me." She said.

Hiccup scrunched his nose, ignoring the second part Alex said. We're they being watched? Maybe watched by polar bears. We all know how long they can stare, especially with Toothless.

Jack stopped abruptly, making him skid Toothless to a stop with his pegleg. "We should rest, Emma's tired and I know you guys are too." Jack said.

"We've only been flying for no more than half a day, Jack." Hiccup explained.

"Half a day takes a lot out of you, so we are resting."

"Shouldn't we continue? We have more to cover I'm guessing." Hiccup argued.

"Hiccup, babe. We are resting. Down." He ordered and flew down to the icy ground. Hiccup brought his hands up into fists and about screamed to the world, frustrated. But instead he let out an angry sigh and launched Toothless downwards. Once on the ground, Alex got off and started kissing the ground.

Jack looked at the ground and lifted his staff. He slammed the ground and a giant ice cave was formed, but Jack almost collapsed to the ground if it wasn't for Emma.

Fucking Emma. Hiccup thought. That should've been him catching Jack like a damsel in distress.

"Okay, I made a cave we can sleep in. Come on, huddle and get warm. I already am warm, cause, you know, cold." Jack said, entering the cave he made.

Hiccup watched as they entered the small opening Jack made to keep the warmth in. He made like... An igloo looking thing. Well damn, mark Hiccup down as impressed and slightly horny. He hoped off Toothless, fixing his pegleg and everything before petting Toothless. He made a sad grunt, towards his mouth and he about face palmed himself. Toothless was hungry! Way to go Hiccup!

"Okay, I'll feed you, just let me go tell them." He said and patted Toothless, running over to the ice cave and peeking his head in. "Hey, I can't settle in. I need to grab Toothless food. I'll be back." I say.

He watched as Jack and Emma didn't even give a twitch to his words, nor presence. Alex on the other hand acknowledged it. That hit Hiccup a little hard. Knowing Jack was to caught up in his sister to even bat an eye at him, hurt him. He knows that they haven't seen each other in 300 years give or take, but still.

"Okay then." He said. He walked up to Toothless and hopped on him, he glanced back, hoping Jack would pull his head out of his ass and come with him, but the cave entrance remained dark. He let out a breath and brought hiccup off the ground and towards the nearest lake.

After a couple minutes of flying, Toothless finally found the right place to hunt. I watched as he stuck his head in and out of the whole. Sometimes coming up lucky, sometimes not.

Well its nice to know Toothless appreciates me. I mean, I don't know why I'm so jealous of Emma but I am. Maybe it's the family bond or something but I feel abandoned by them. Abandoned by Jack. I think that's why I argued with him; because he agreed to Emma's plan but completely disregarded mine. Ugh! Why is this so frustrating?!

"Toothless, hurry, we need to get back!" I called.

"Get back to what?" I jumped, gasping back to the voice. I glanced up to see Mandrake leaning over me, the ground and snow he touched, nos died and withered away.

Immediately, I scolded. "No where that concerns you." I say bitterly.

"Oh, so bitter, I thought we connected." He said, his rat looking face smirking at me.

"When did we connect? Hm?" I asked.

"You know, when the darkness was slithering your veins, corrupting your light, corrupting your everything. It was quite a sight." He chuckled.

"It corrupted me, yes. But not in the way you think." I say, my death glare radiating off daggers his way.

"It gave you an ability, an ability I've been wanting to see be tested. Come with me. Show me your ability." He said, holding a hand out.

"In your dreams. I would never go with you. Toothless!" I whistled. Toothless shot up and ran over to me, Mandrake stepped forward and gripped my arm. I yelped at his tight grip and kicked him in the stomach. He doubled over but his grip was tight, twisting my skin in a way it could rip. He pulled out his dagger and smirked.

"At least give me a blood sample to take." He said. I fought him.

"Not- not happening!" I screamed.

He brought the dagger down and it connected with my face, making me whelp but the blood didn't fall. He grunted and sliced my side, that's when I had enough and kicked him hard, this time with my pegleg and in the genitals.

His grip finally released me and I gripped my side, hurrying to jump on Toothless. "You won't be with them very long. I can guarantee that!" Mandrake screamed.

I just hurried Toothless and we flew towards the cave, feeling the blood sting to the cold air. The one on my cheek starting to fall with blood as well. Once at the camp ground, exhaustion hit me, making me drop to the ground. Jesus was I tired. Is it the fact I'm loosing blood? Or the fact I had am encounter with Mandrake? I guess both are bad, huh?
