Argument

*Jack's P.O.V*

I don't know if its just me or not, but Hiccup has been acting weird around me ever since he came back from the forest. That little dragon dork was probably off causing problems for some people. That's like the only explanation for it.
"Hiccup, can I talk to you?" I asked him, grabbing his shoulder before he went to wake up Alex and putting on the rest of his clothes.
Hiccup turned around, "what?" He asked.
I smiled. "What's been up with you lately? You seem... I dunno... Distant a little." I said.
"Distant? We had sex yesterday and cuddled, how is any of this distant to you?" He asked, a little hostility thrown into his voice. He did have a point but I know my dragon dork to well and he is hiding something.
"No not like... Now but the past few years every time you look at me you seem to get a pained look in your eye and ever since you came back from the pee you had in the forest you have been distant. I can't be the only one seeing this." I said, taking in a deep breath from the long speech I gave.
"Drop it. I love you, but some things need to stay with me." He said, turning to put his armor back on.
I bit my lip. Maybe I did come on a little strong with this matter. He obviously just told me he was hiding something so not a shock there, but still. I feel like he's become more distant when we landed here. It gives me a sort of.... Um... Uneasy feeling.
"Alex," I glanced back seeing him move her with his index finger. I sighed, feeling a nudge on my hand and glanced back to see Toothless with a worried look in his reptilian eyes. He moaned lowly and pointed his snout at the ground. For the first time since I woke up, I just noticed that the ground was no longer the beautiful green it was last night. It was now dying crisps of black mold and... Black sand?
My shoulders drooped to the uneasy feeling in my back as I bent down to grab a fistful of the black sand and mold, feeling it crush under the pressure of my fingers. The sand had the same abilities as... Pitch. Or someone like him.
"This was Mandrake's doing," a voice said into my ear. I turned to see Alex flying near my ear, he little hands clasped close to her chest.
I stood up and huffed in a deep breath, turning to the both of them. "I don't think it was all Mandrake," I said firmly. Hiccups eyes got wide but he averted them to the ground.
"Then who else?" Alex asked.
I looked at Hiccup who gulped down a was of spit. That is a sign that he knows something, but you know what I'm gonna play this out. "I don't know, its just a hunch but Mandrake just kills stuff right?" I asked.
She nodded.
I opened my arms. "So look around carefully, there is sand mixed in," I said, looking at Hiccup. "Nightmare sand."
Hiccup snapped his head up and quickly shoved his final gloves on and walked over to Toothless, completely ignoring what I just said.
I grabbed his shoulder, stopping him. "Did you not hear me?" I asked.
He paused. "Yes I heard you," he said lowly.
"And your not gonna say anything about it?"
Hiccup turned around vigorously. "What do you want me to say?!" He shouted. "Sorry I am less than eager to hear about the person who tortured me and not to mention you and told Jack Nightmare to kill me!"
"Why are you blowing up in my face! And I never even mentioned Pitch! He died by you!" I shouted back.
His face was shocked almost but then he glanced down, almost ashamed. "U...unless he didn't," I said.
"I don't know if I actually did if the nightmare sand is still here," he said under his breath.
"Wait, you don't know?" I asked, stepping in front of him so that I was staring at him. "I thought you used that power of yours to kill him! Are you tell-"
"I told you I don't fucking know!" He blew up, inches from my face. The tension in the air grew faster, making it almost hard to breathe. Alex whistled, breaking the awkward tension.
Hiccup sighed. "We have a queen to save," he said jumping onto Toothless's back. I rolled my eyes and grunted, grabbing my staff off of the tree and jumped up, leaving Hiccup staring at me as I flew with Alex. He seemed pretty sure that Pitch did that. I intend on finding out what happened to him and why he blew up in my face.

(A/N: Hey guys I'm back with a new chapter :3 things are really heating up with Jack and Hiccup. How will Hiccup survive keeping this secret. Jack knows but Hiccup is still lying, what shall happen to their relationship? And also this chapter was a little short and I am sorry for that, but I will probably update today and tomorrow, depending on how much time I have at my house :3 till next time my Nightmarelings xD)
