*Unknowns P.O.V*
Hiccup and Alex were talking on the back of Toothless about winter and if flowers could still grow. Jack stayed closer to Hiccup, more than to his sister. She didn't mind of course, she knew they were a thing, but it did bother her that Hiccup smelt wrong. He gave off a weird scent, a scent no one ever gave off. It reminded her of a demon she has faced in the past. He smelt like... Pitch with a hint of something else and she didn't like it.
"Will you guys stop talking about flowers?! You've talking about them since we left!" Jack exploded, turning around to look at them in mid air.
Hiccup smirked. "Oh what's the matter big baby boo, can't take talking about flowers? Are you too manly for it?" He teased, making Alex laugh and Emma chuckle.
"Shut up you dragon dork before I push down into the snow." He shoved Hiccup but he didnt budge. Hiccup smirked and Jack sighed.
Emma watched as the three complained to each other, but most importantly, she watched Hiccups actions. She didn't take her eyes off of him. She didnt trust him, much like he doesn't trust her.
"Emma, do you think they should stop?" Her brother asked, making everyone look at her.
"Don't look at me, this is on you guys." Emma said, looking away and keeping her head straight.
They all rolled their eyes and continued forward into the coldness. Jack was going on and on about his old times in the guardians palace and everytime it made Emma smile. She missed him, severly but to know he died for a semi better future brought a smile to her lips.
Jack could see the guardians palace ahead, smiling at it, but then the smile faded when he looked at Hiccups feared face. The last time they saw each other it didn't end very well. Jack gave a small smile the closer they got, feeling sympathy for his fiance.
"We are almost there!" Alex squealed.
Hiccup flinched to her words. He didn't want to see them. He didn't want to find out about his powers nor about Jack's sister.
"Prepare, we are going in on the top." And they did, going in through the window that stayed open for Man in Moon. When they entered, they landed in the globe room, the yetis being to shocked to move.
Hiccup jumped off, following Alex behind him. Jack looked around and found North was ordering the non shocked Yetis around. Jack gulped.
"North! Can we talk to you?!" Jack screamed, making Hiccup flinch in fear.
North turned his head and his eyes lit up. He said something to the yetis that made them cheer and walked over to them. He laughed, grabbing Jack into a big huge, bone crushing hug. The rest of them laughed, all except Hiccup. He had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach.
"Vhat are you doing here Jack?!" He asked, putting Jack down to watch him stumble a bit.
"Well, we actually came to talk to all the guardians. Mind alerting them?" Jack asked, stretching out his back.
"Ha-ha, for you Jack, anything." He said. North glanced around, his eyes landing on a frightened hiccup. North sighed and went to go bring out the northern lights.
"Jack, maybe this was a bad idea." Hiccup said, coming over to him and grabbing Jack's jacket.
"What do you mean? We need to find out about every-" Jack was cut off by a familiar Australian accent.
"Oi! Whats the deal north?" Jack glanced up to see Bunny appear out of the ground. Hiccup looked down at his hands and gasped, hiding them behind his back. He was starting to regret his decision of coming here.
"I vill tell you when everyone is here." North said. As if on cue, tooth and Sandy cam in at the same exact moment.
"What's the matter North?" Tooth asked, not noticing the younger ones and the dragon.
He pointed to them and all of the four guardians looked at them. Bunny's eyes landed on Hiccup and his eyes grew.
"I thought you said Hiccup was dying Frostbite!" Bunny said, hopping over to him.
"Well.... He was until he got healed, but that's why we are here. While Hiccup was under that small death scare, his power changed." Jack explained.
"What do you mean it changed?" North asked, stepping forward.
"What Jack means to say, is that I was being choked by some guy named Mandrake and he touched me. His touch slowly made me go crazy... And ... Well... After Jack and I got into a fight and I told him the truth, I passed out and awoke with a new power. I don't exactly know what happened but it scared me." Hiccup explained, suddenly feeling confident.
The guardians all stared in shock. They couldn't believe they were hearing this. "What do you mean your powers changed?"
Hiccup's sudden flare decreased, making him gulp. He stepped forward hesitantly, taking in a shakey breath. "Uhm... What I mean is... Ugh just look." Hiccup walked over to the guardians and pulled his sleeves up to his elbows. The black and gray veins showed more than what they first looked like.
Emma's eyes grew wide, along with the guardians as they stared down at Hiccups wrists. They couldn't believe what they were seeing. Emma glared suspiciously at the boy, only now noticing the scent was stronger.
"Is this Nightmare sand mate?" Bunny asked, taking a step back.
"We don't know what it is, that's why we came to you guys." Jack said, stepping forward. "Also we came because I found my sister, Emma." He said.
"What?!" Tooth practically screamed. "Where is she? What does she look like?!" She flew up to Jack's face, practically gripping it like a grandma would do.
"Ow! Ah! Tooth stop!" Jack screamed.
"Oh, right... Sorry." She said.
"And to the answer to your question, I'm right here." Emma said, stepping forward, her purple eyes searching the colorful fairy.
"You are Emma? Wow, I pictured you differently." Tooth said, smiling.
"As did I," she looked around the room and smiled. "I actually pictured all of you differently." She explained.
"We did too." They explained. "But this is mainly about Hiccup. Is there anything like this you have seen before?" She asked.
Hiccup gulped. He wanted to know so badly, but he was afraid the guardians will deny him again. "We can research this, but until then, we need to take precautions." North said, walking up to Hiccup.
"Pre... Precautions?" Hiccup stuttered, backing up a bit.
"We don't know your powers, until then, we shall lock you up." North said.
"Woah! Hey!" Alex said, running up. "What do you mean lock him up?!"
"He's a danger to all of us until we know his powers." Bunny said.
"No one agreed to this!" Jack argued.
Hiccup looked down at his wrists and gulped. "Now, he's right." He said.
"I agree," Emma says, stepping forward.
"What?! No! Stop! Stop!" Jack said! Stepping into all of it. Hiccup walked up and gripped Jack's shoulder.
"Jack its okay, its only for a few hours anyways." He kissed Jack on the cheek and stepped forward. "Okay, show me the way." He said.
North nodded, leading him down a hallway and into a room, not knowing that things were going to take a turn for the worst.
