*Jack's P.O.V*
I awoke in a blink if an eye from a bad pit in my stomach. My body hurting from the bad feeling. What was this bad feeling? Was it love? Maybe something around us? Getting up, I sneaked a look to see who was there. Emma and Alex were both sleeping soundly, but Hiccup wasn't there. The feeling grew. I sat up and tried hard not to wake them up. I walked out of the cave and gulped. What I saw, was not what I wanted to see. Toothless was pinned to the ground by rope, he was struggling, sounding in pain as he did. My senses were on high alert now.
"Toothless!" I Shout as I ran to him and broke his rope. He jumped up and ran towards a patch of snow with... Hiccups pegleg? What?
"Jack? What's the matter? Why did you scream so loudly?" Alex asked. I leaned down and gripped the leg up out of the snow. It had blood on the end and the trail seemed to drift off.
"H... Hiccup?" I asked. I fell to my knees. Hiccup got... Kidnapped? What if worse... Dead?
Suddenly the world around me turned into black abyss. In a panic I got up and turned around just in time to see Hiccup standing there. He had a leg made completely out of shadows. "Hiccup?" I asked.
Hiccup chuckled. "Understanding me is hard, is it not?" He asked, his voice sounding echoed.
"What?" I asked almost breathlessly.
"You asked me to marry you, but you go right around and take advantage of me. Am I a pawn to you?" He asked.
"No... What are you saying?" I asked.
"You want me, but you don't think of me. If you truly wanted me, you would've seen that Emma is messing with you." Hiccup said, walking closer. "Emma was with Pitch. On her own will. She's bad news." Hiccup said, twirling around me.
"No she isn't! You lived with Pitch for a long time as well!" I shot.
He chuckled. "I did, but I did it against my will, right?"
That caught my tongue. I didn't know what to do. He didn't do it by his will, bug I doubt my sister did to. She was probably found and taken in. She didn't go in on her own accord.
"What's the matter? Frost caught your tongue?" Hiccup teased, coming closer.
I glared. "What are you?" I asked.
He chuckled, coming face to face with me. "I, am what you perceive me to be. This is what your afraid of me becoming. This is what you fear. But if you keep this up. It may just happen." He chuckled and slowly disappeared, fading away from me.
"Wait! Hiccup!" I reached out but only caught air.
"If you truly love me, you will treat me right. Unless your afraid of the commitment." The voice echoed. "Afraid you took a step over the limit." The voice seemed closer. "But you better be careful. You could make hiccup think he isn't worth the time, and you don't want that." He chuckled.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"As dense as always," he inquired. "But that's no longer gonna be a thing. Just watch how Hiccup acts. Maybe itll open your eyes. I suggest you watch Emma as well. Don't want that to be a problem, now do we?" He suggested.
That's when the darkness cleared, making me bolt up from the ground. I glanced around go see Emma and Alex sleeping on the ground. My blood seemed to run colder than normal when I didn't see Hiccup lying on the ground. Is my dream coming true? No... My Nightmare? Swallowing I lifted my staff and slowly made my way to the cave door. My stomach having butterflies the closer I got. Once there, I peeked around the corner and saw Hiccup lying on the back of Toothless, looking up at the sky. I let out a relieved breath and walked out of the cave towards him.
"The sky is clear today, huh buddy?" I heard Hiccup say.
Toothless snorted in agreement. Once I was there, Hiccup didn't seem to notice me, so I sunk low and walked as close to Toothless as I could and jumped up with a wide smile.
"Hiccup!" I screamed.
Hiccup screamed and was knocked off Toothless by his severe shock. I couldn't help but laugh loudly.
"Jack! Oh my gods are you trying to kill me?!" He asked as he got up off the ground.
I chuckled, trying hard not to laugh loudly. Once he was standing, his form from my dream flashed through me and I instantly got sad. I looked at him to see he was still glaring daggers at me. I grabbed his shoulders and hugged him tightly. I heard his protests but all I wanted to do is hold him there. Hold my Hiccup there.
"I'm sorry," I say. "I didn't know how you felt about everything and I made you cry. I'm horrible and I miss you so much but I know you hate me right now. I've been giving all my attention to my sister and not even worrying about anything else. I shouldve been worried about you. I should be acting like a fiance and not a jackass."
Hiccup wrapped his hands around me and started crying in the nape of my neck. All I could do was chuckle.
"You finally admit it." Hiccup said and moved away from me. He glanced down at my hands and smiled. He gripped my hand and I was confused. That's when he pulled out a... Ohmygod! A ring. The most beautiful ring I've ever seen. It was mixed with wood but the shadow casted around it made it glow and glisten like black snow. He put it on my ring finger and I felt his hand clasp mine. He smiled up at me and I grabbed his face and smashed ours together. He chuckled under the kiss but we just kept kissing him.
"I love you Jack." He said after a break.
"I love you too." I tell him back.
"After we figure out about your sister and this curse I have, we are so getting in the bed. And hopefully retiring from adventures." He said.
I chuckled. "Getting tired Mr. Immortal?" I asked.
He rolled his eyes. "No but I think a good hundred years are good for a break." He told me.
I nodded. "Done. So lets go. I'll get the girls, you get Toothless ready." I say and kiss him one more time before going towards the cave to get the girls. A smile never leaving my lips and hopefully never leaving his.
But I can't get this bad feeling swelling in my stomach out. But whatever it is, we will get through it. All of us. Together.
