*Hiccups P.O.V*

My heart raced as I hurried over to the edge of the forest. I was out of breath by the time I reached it and doubled over to catch it. Jack will notice I am gone, so I have to hurry and get some answers. How will I know if Pitch is out here or not? Once I catches my breath I walked into the tall grass forest(considering I'm small) and glanced around for any sign of him.

"Hiccup Haddock paying me a visit?" Said an English voice. "What an honor," Pitch stepped out of the shadows with his pathetic brown tattered cloak on and the hood up. I still couldn't pull my eyes away from that scar. It was an eyesore.

"Don't get to cocky," I say. "I need to talk to you."

"You don't look so good, Hiccup." Pitch said.

I rolled my eyes. "Yes, I know and that's kind of the reason why I am doing this little visit." I tell him.

Pitch raised an eyebrow at me before lacing his hands together in front of his chest. "Explain," was all he said.

"Okay, so I don't know how it happened but when we were fighting against Mandrake, he tackled me to the ground and he seemed to have his mind up for "killing" me," I made invisible quotation marks with my hands before continuing, "and so after that, he held me down on the ground. I was filled with rage that I didn't know what was happening and then Jack tackled him off of me." I explained.

We sat in silence and I could tell Pitch was analyzing my story from beginning to end. I glanced over Pitch's scar and felt my neck twitch. My hand shot up to scratch it, but the itch seemed to spread. Without a word Pitch grabbed a fistful of my hair and pulled it down towards the grass. I practically fell over if it weren't for my hands catching Pitch's forearm. I felt him moving his hands through my hair like a mom searching for lice.

"I don't see anything," he said, releasing my hair. I glared at him, rubbing the sore spot.

"Gods," I exclaimed. "Maybe a little warning next time."

"I could, but that was pretty fun to do." Pitch said.

I rolled my eyes before picking up the tail of the conversation. "Anyway, what do you mean you don't see anything?"

He shrugged. "It means I don't see anything. I don't think he did anything to you and I'm not lying because I hate you. I'm telling you the truth." Pitch said with a cocky grin.

"I saw the spread in the mirror myself," I explain, "I didn't imagine that."

Pitch just let out an irritated sigh before rubbing the bridge of his nose. I gulped. I wasn't making it up and he should know that. I saw the spread myself and if he cant see it... does that mean no one can help me?

"Go to Mandrake and ask him." Pitch suggested.

"I can't just show up!" I screamed. "Its obvious he wants me dead by the stupid curse thing he put on me."

"Does Jack know about this?" Pitch asked.

That made me stop everything and look up at him. my breath fell ragged and the area around us seemed so thick you could cut it like butter. "No... he doesn't know about this."

Pitch clucked his tongue. "That is how you ruin a relationship, my dear boy."

I grunted. "I know... i'm just.. I haven't told him... anything." I mumbled, scolding myself for saying it.

"You're keeping everything bottled up?" Pitch asked.

I nodded.

"Oh that's not good, if you keep all of this bottled up, you will eventually explode and tell all of your dirty secrets." Pitch chuckled.

"Yeah right, I've held out for five years, so i doubt this will top it off." i say truthfully.

"Whatever," he said. "I don't think I can help you."

"You can't or won't?" I asked.

"I only promised to give you some info on Mandrake because I simply want to be in control of his armies. I didn't intend on fully helping you." He said.

"So you used me because you thought I could kill Mandrake?"

He shrugged. "Basically, yeah."

"Let me guess, you're gonna use Emma to help overthrow Mandrake?" I asked.

"I am not gonna use Emma, even if she is awake, she isn't prepared to fight. She doesn't even have control of her powers. She doesn't even know what her powers even are." He explained.

"She will learn... Is she asking for Jack?" I mumbled. That question has been bothering me since I have heard the news.

he sighed. "No she hasn't. He's dead to her. I'm still surprised that MIM actually allowed her to live as a guardian."

"That is-" I was cut off with my neck becoming intense. It felt like someone with really long nails ran their hand down my neck and onto my shoulder. I pulled down my Jacket to see it had spread to the tip of my shoulder.

"I see it now," Pitch said. "I've seen this done before. A young fairy was suffering from this. It spreads faster the more stress, guilt and lies you pile onto your shoulder."

"You mean... this sees into you heart?" I asked.

He chuckled. "Correct. seems You have roughly a week before it spreads. If you come out with everything, there's a chance it may disappear. But we both know that's never going to happen." He smiled before stepping back. "Seems you have lost the faith in yourself. See you in the depths of damnation, Hiccup Haddock." With that Pitch disappears into the shadows.

What an asshole. He could have been more helpful but instead he decided to leave and not help me. But he was correct. I need to get rid of this and the only way to do that is to do the one thing I refused to do in the beginning. I stared down at my engagement ring before looking back at the sun that was about to set. I turned around and saw the castle in view. If Jack loves me, he will listen.

So, I need to tell Jack everything.
