*Hicupp's P.O.V*

I shifted but the grass beneath me seemed to crunch like fall leaves, making me jolt up. I looked around, seeing the forest was dark and dead. The sun seemed to shine on, but the grass and trees around me were dead and gone. I looked down seeing Jack still clinging to my waist. I saw Alex who was still sleeping like a starfish on the mushroom while Toothless was growling into he forest. I twisted and moved Jack's shoulder to get him up. He only snored louder and let go of my waist, turning away from me. I rolled my eyes and got up, throwing on my pants and boot before exiing out from under the leaf. Toothless continued to growl lowly at the forest. I walked over to him, still shirtless, and rubbed his head. He jumped back shocked until he saw who it was and smiled.

I looked into the forest where Toothless was growling into and walked in front of him, making sure that my leg was okay to walk over these forest grounds. Toothless whimpered, but I turned arond and smiled. "It's okay buddy, If they wake up before I come back, come find me," I say before turning into the forest. Toothless made a sad noise but he understood just what I was saying and sat there. The deeper I went, the darker and less alive the forest looked. I held in my breath, walking but I had to be careful with what I walk into, considering there was nothing to cover my chest and stomach with.

"A dragon? You don't get mch of those these days," I head from ahead of me. I froze in my spot, not moving for any reason.

"Oh, I've had plenty of those the last five years, trst me," said a more british voice. I crouched down, walking over to the edge of he forest to see a tall musclarish man with what seemed like a skinned rat on his head and another thinner more taller man in a cloak. But the man in the cloak seemed familiar.

"Well, back to the matters at hand; since you have decided to help me take down Queen Tara, I have no choice but to use the rest of my shrink potion on you and me and leave my other companion out of this." The muscular one said. What does he mean by shrink potion? And Queen Tara... isn't that the Queen Alex was talking about?

"Oh, thank you, and its the least I can do since the brat who turned me hideous is now out of my reach. I am happy to kill someone with you." The taller one said.

"Oh it's not that bad, Its actually quite nice because you can say yo survived a peasant." Muscular said.

The taller one sighed. "Well that peasant is now what most call a shit guardian who only seems to bring sorrow wherever he goes."

Is this guy talking about Jack? Or maybe Bunny. I saw Mandrake raise his staff towards me and I saw that he knew I was there. Well shit, so much for being incognito.

"I know your there, step out stranger before I decide to kill you, your chice." He said.

Fuck, I knew I was screwed the moment I heard their conversation but I didnt know it would be this fast. I slowly lifted up my hands and stepped out of the shadows. The taller man seemed to be fazed by my revealing but the other man just glanced me up and down awkwardly.

"And you may be?" He asked, lifting his staff once again.

I shrugged. "Just a stranger passing by, I was looing for a place to pee, actually." I said, lying my way out of danger teribly.

"Well there is forest everywhere so why were you hiding?" He asked.

I gulped down a wad of spit before answering. "Come on, masked men talking about some high secret and everything was kind of hard to pass up." I said. "And also The boy I was traveling with seemed to still be asleep soI came to look around and... well here I am." I didnt say anything about Alex since he wouldnt be as understanding as he would to Just us.

"We werent talking about anything you little runt!" He spat.

"Okay, okay, chill." I said.

"You are traveling with Jack Frost, am I correct?" The taller one said through his hoodie.

"Yeah... how the hell did you know?" I asked.

Wait... Is that... No I thought I... So MIM was right with what he said. Part of my secret is knowing that this man is still alive.

"Pitch..." I said almost breathlessly.

Pitch removed his hood to reveal an ugly scare across his face and a lighter skin tone on his neck. He still looked the same, but then again he really didnt. I tried to gulp down more spit but my mouth came up cotton dry.

"Seems MIM told you about me, did he tell you the whole thing?" He asked.

I glared at him. "Yes. He did." I said through my teeth.

He smirked. "Oh, and what did Jack say abou the news?" I stayed silent. I wasnt gonna tell Jack about what MIM told me and by the expression on my face, Pitch knew. "You didnt tell him?"He laught violently out loud. "OH what a great day! Seems you have been holding that weight on your shoulders for quite some time, im so sorry for you." He said.

"I don't need you to tell me this, I know I am hiding something from him but it is for the best, if he knew... I don't think he would ever forgive me." I said.

"Well this has been entertaining bt if yu dont mind youn boy I have a queen to kill." Mandrake said, cutting into the conversation. "Shall I kill you now and get it over with?"

"No, leave him, its not like he is part of the mission... and id love to see whats leaft of him after he tells Jack about the secret that almost everyone knows about." He said.

Mandrake raised a brow,but he didnt question it. Instead he smiled and grabbed Pitch my the cloak. "We must be off," He said, dissappearing only to leave a big pile of dark ash left behind. I glared a the spot still but then sighed.

So Pitch knows about the secret and I have no clue how to hide this news from Jack. But no matter what I cant tell Jack and Alex about the discovery because im pretty sure that rat head is Mandrake and the fact that Pitch hasnt shown himself for 5 years and that he has been very quiet wouldnt give Jack calm. So I need to keep this to myself no matter what.

I sighed, turning to head back to the "camp" only to find Toothless wiggling his butt and Jack just barely putting on his clothes. I came into the camp and pat Toothless's head.

"where did my dragon dork go?" Jack asked.

I sighed. I know I shouldnt say anything about Pitch and I know that if I do, Jack will be more worried about me and him than helping Alex. "I went pee," I said. But knowing when we get there, we will met Pitch. That I know for a fact.
