*Hiccup's P.O.V.*
I ran into the castle and up the stairs into our room. Jack obviously wasn't there but i needed time to think about when and how I was going to tell him. Also another important part is what do I tell him about first? Should I start with what Mandrake did or with what the moon told me? Ugh... I just... Dont know what to do!
As if on cue, the door opened to our room, revealing Jack Alex and... Two slugs? What the hell are the two slugs doing?
"Hey Hiccup, since when did you get back?" Jack asked, walking into the room to place his staff in the corner. I didn't realize I was clutching the bed frame until Alex gave me a look of concern. With everything I had, I quickly removed my hand and scratched my head.
"Oh ya know, I was just getting me some water." The slug with no shell glared at me for no reason. "Can I help you?" I asked.
"Ooooh, we have a sassy little guy," the fat one said sliming over to me. "The question is, can I help you ?" He pushed me down with his belly before pointing his giant creepily extended eyes into my face.
"Uh.." Was all I could manage.
"Mub, get away from him," Jack said.
Mub glared before slowly backing away from me and next to his more thinner partner. I got up and dusted my pants before turning to Alex and The snailslugs. "Is it alright if I talk to Jack alone?" I asked.
"Of course, we'll be in the commons if you need anything." She said, smiling before closing the door. I felt my breath come out so thick it could stop a knife.
"So what did you want to talk to me about?" He asked, walking over to the terrace.
I couldn't manage anything. My heart pounded so hard that I could hear it beat in my ears. I gulped down and managed to move my feet over to the terrace where Jack was leaning over the bar, looking at the crack of the trees to see mountains. The sun was about to set and the breezy wind made his blue tipped white hair flow in the breeze.
"You love me right?" I managed, stopping at the door just a few steps out if the room.
He looked back at me confused. "Of course, why?" He asked.
I felt my breathing pick up, but it could just be my imagination. "I-I just wanted to hear you say that so I know it was real."
He smiled. "Of course its real, no matter what, I could never not love you, I mean I did propose to you." He said, walking over to take my hands into his.
I looked down, watching him fiddle my wedding ring in his hands. I stepped back. "Jack there is something I have to tell you." I said.
"Your pregnant?" He asked.
I about chocked. "What?! No! I'm a guy!" I screamed.
He chuckled. "I was only teasing, its just that's how girls start to tell the man," he said.
I rolled my eyes. "No I'm not pregnant." I assured him. "But I do have something that I was keeping from you since I turned into a guardian." I said the last part in kind of a mumble and I would be surprised if he even understood it.
"Like what?" He asked.
How do I tell him? Ugh this is so frustrating! "I-I went into the afterlife and talked to Manny for a while and he told me-" I cut off.
"He told you what?" Jack asked now more serious.
"Uh... He told me that your uh... Your-" I paused and sucked in air; better now than later. "He told me that your sister was a guardian," I practically spilled the words out of my mouth so fast it even took me a minute to understand them all.
Jack stood there stunned. He couldn't move. I felt my heart beat faster and faster every second he didn't say something. The tension was thick around us but I didn't want to speak.
"She-shes alive?" He asked. "Emma..." He looked up at me, his blue Carribean eyes filled with pain. "How long have you known?"
"About... Five years." I say.
"Five years! Why didn't you tell me?!" He shouted.
"I-I couldn't! Manny told me I couldn't!" I shouted back.
"So! I'm your boyfriend! Soon to be your husband and you couldn't tell me that my sister is alive and alone and probably scared!" He shouted.
"She's not alone! She has-" I stopped myself knowing I screwed up. I can't believe I said those words.
Jack glared at me, a dark shadow casting over his eyes. "She has who hiccup?" He demanded.
I gulped. "No one of your concern."
"NO ONE OF MY CONCERN?! SHES MY SISTER NOW TELL ME WHO THE PERSON IS!" He demanded now almost inches from my face.
"She has someone that's all you need to know!" I yell into his face.
"Hiccup tell me now." He glared.
"Pitch," I managed. "She has Pitch."
Jack nearly fell back by the shock. He couldn't believe the words that came out of my mouth. But then his eyes turned to stoned hatred. "You knew Pitch was still alive?"
"I didn't know until I ran into him. Your sister was in a coma for those hundreds of years and Pitch told me her concern and some war plans about Mandr-" I covered my mouth followed by a gasp. I can't believe I just said that.
"You knew about that attack and you kept it a secret?" He asked.
I didn't say anything.
"What the fuck hiccup?! You could've saved some lives but instead you've been trading them for lies! You knew about my sister and worst of all your consulting with the enemy and that enemy is PITCH OF ALL PEOPLE WHO TRIED TO KILL YOU!" He grabbed my jacket and brought me up to his face. "IS EVERYTHING YOUR DOING RIGHT NOW A LIE?!" he shouted. "DO YOU REALLY LOVE ME?"
I couldn't speak. I have never seen Jack this upset. Never in the years I've known him has he ever been this upset. "I do love you Jack! That fact has never changed!" I shouted back, finding my voice again.
He released my jacket and I fell to the ground on my knees, feeling the spread go down my arm. I thought telling the truth was supposed to help it. Why is it spreading?
"I can't be around you right now." Jack said in a low voice. "I can't even look at you."
"Jack.." My voice faltered. My heart wasn't sitting right in my chest, clenching up to the dark look in Jack's eyes.
"I don't want to hear it. Just get LOST!" He screamed. "Better yet why don't you go consult with Pitch again! Seems you two are pretty good friends now." Jack faced me with the darkest look and clenched his jaw.
"I'm not Pitch's friend and I'm not consulting with the enemy! I knew about Pitch and your sister but I never meant to hurt you with it!" I shouted.
"You never meant to hurt me?" He raised his voice slightly. "look around you Hiccup! You hurt me already just by telling me this! And you know what! The hurt is returnable because I don't ever want to see your face again! Go! Go and never come back!" Jack shouted. He looked at me once more and stormed off into the room and out the door.
I stared at the door, my heart feeling like it was split in two. My eyes formed tears that fell onto my cheek. I reached up and felt the tear fall. I lost it right there. jack just told me to get lost... I really hurt him with the truth and now he hates me.
That stopped me dead. He hates me and he never wants to see me again... Then that is what he'll get.
