“Panthera!” Connor yells, skipping down the hallway to her room. He knocks on the door and there's no answer. He slowly opens the door and notices the notes on the bed. He runs over and opens his note. He reads it and runs downstairs. He wakes up his mom and dad and gives them their note. He sits on the edge of the bed and cries. Candance hugs Connor for a second before he breaks from the hug and runs out the door. “Where are you going?” Candance yells after him. “To go find Panthera!” Candance grabs his arm and stops him. “You can't stop me!” he yells, trying to get away. “I'm not trying to stop you, I'm coming with you.” Connor stops trying to get away and hugs his mom. They get in the car and Abaddon drives. They start on their way to the Cherokee mountains. Panthera stops to get a drink from a stream and to give Katy a bath. She hears something and picks up Katy and runs. Connor sees Panthera running through the woods in her panther form. “There she is!” Connor yells, pointing out the window. “Follow that panther!” Connor yells. Abaddon nods and speeds up. Panthera hears the noise getting louder and freaks out so she tries to swerve but then lands on the road. She looks and sees a car heading towards her. She tries to get up and move but she can't because she broke her leg. The car stops right in front of her. Connor climbs out and Pantheras eyes get wide. She tries to get up and run but she can't. Her gaze gets hazy and her hearing falters. Connor runs in front of her and tries to talk to her but she can't focus on him. She passes out.
