Panthera and the Ghostly Sister ✓

Chapter Thirty

Candance walks out with Katy and Panthera walks over and licks Katy. “Kitty.” Katy says.  Candance and Connor gasps but Panthera smiles. She licks Katy again and Katy giggles. They all go inside while Panthera jumps up in a tree. She has a feeling that something bad will happen so she wants to be on watch. Connor walks out and looks at her but she doesn't notice. Her black panther tail swishes in the breeze and he smiles. Connor walks back inside and starts talking and eating. Panthera watches the perimeter of the house and yard for hours when Connor walks outside. “Can you come inside Luna?” Connor asks. Panthera looks down as Connor looks around, searching for her. She smiles and jumps out of the tree on her soft paws, making no noise, while Connor keeps looking. She sneaks up behind him, still not making noise. She playfully pounces him and he falls to the ground, laughing. Connor looks up at her, smiling and laughing. Panthera gets off of him and Connor gets up. They both walk inside and go up to Connors room. Connor goes to the bathroom to change while Panthera sits next to the bed. Connor walks out and Panthera puts her paw on the bed. Connor gets in bed and Panthera climbs onto the bed with him. She lays at the edge of his bed, watching the door and window. “What's wrong Luna?” Connor asks. Panthera looks at him before looking back at the door and window. Connor sighs and pulls the blanket over him. Panthera doesn't move all night, she just watches. Candane walks in the next morning. “Did you sleep at all last night?” Candance asks. Panthera shakes her head and Candance sighs. “Panthera, you need sleep.” Candance says. Connor groans and gets up as soon as Panthera gets off the bed. Panthera runs out the front door as Connor walks inside. She hunts for 5 minutes, getting a wild pig, eating it raw. She runs back outside as Connor walks down the steps. Panthera runs up and Connor climbs on.
