Panthera wakes up and grabs Katy before going to the kitchen. She makes a bottle for crying Katy before eating her breakfast. Leon walks into the kitchen and sits next to Panthera after grabbing some breakfast. He starts eating and Katy falls asleep in Pantheras lap and Panthera finishes eating. She puts Katy back in her crib before changing into some shorts and a tank top. She runs out the front door and shifts. She runs to Connors house and sits in front of the door. She hears noises in the house and waits. After a moment, Connor opens the door and smiles. He runs up and throws his arms around Pantheras neck and she smiles. She sets her head on his shoulders and purrs. Connor pulls back and smiles. “Can we go back to the mountain?” he asks. Panthera lays on her stomach and Connor climbs on. Panthera starts running and he whoops out of joy again. Panthera runs faster and Connor hangs on tighter. She gets to the cliff and stops. Connor climbs down and sits in the same spot as the day before. Panthera sits behind him, watching the birds fly over the trees. He sighs and Panthera lays down behind him. Connor leans back and looks at the clouds. “That one looks like a hippo.” he says, pointing at one of the clouds. To Panthera, it looks more like a baby but she smiles anyway. Connor starts running his fingers through her fur and she purrs. She crosses her paws in front of her and lays her head down. She watches as Connor points out more clouds and gives more weird descriptions. Panthera keeps watching the clouds till she hears snoring. Panthera looks over and sees Connor asleep against her fur. Panthera lets out a laugh that's more of a growl but he doesn't do anything. Panthera gently pulls herself out from beneath him and looks at the sun. It looks like it's 1 so she pulls Connor onto her back and runs to his home. On the way, Leon runs up to her side. “Is he ok?” Leon asks. “Yeah he's fine. He just fell asleep.” Panthera says back. Leon nods and splits off from her. She gets to Connors home and Candance walks out. She picks up Connor and Panthera shifts. “He fell asleep watching the clouds.” Panthera says. “Thank you for getting him home.” Candance says. Connor moves and Panthera automatically shifts. Connor slowly opens his eyes and looks at Candance. “Mom?” he says confused. He looks over at Panthera and smiles. “I thought you left Luna.” Connor says tiredly. Panthera licks his cheek before turning and running. Connor watches her go before falling back asleep. Panthera runs to the cabin and Leon walks out with a letter. “What's that?” Panthera asks, shifting. Leon hands it to her and it says her name.

Dear Panthera,

My name is Gavin. I send this letter to you bearing bad news. Emma, Katy's mother, has died. She was an amazing woman and she died protecting a classroom of children. She left everything of hers to you and Katy. Including a house, lots of money, and everything else. Her will was to give everything of hers to you and Katy. I have a package sent to you with this note holding all the money she had. I hope you can live a happy life because that's what your twin sister wanted.

                    From, Gavin

Panthera drops the note and falls to the floor. Leon runs over to her and grabs the note. He read it as a million things ran through Pantheras head. Her sister was Emma, so that meant that Katy was her niece. She was planning on giving Katy up for adoption but she can't now. She was going to give this baby the best life possible. Leon pulled her into a hug and mumbled something but Panthera didn't know what to say. She stood up and walked into the house. She grabbed Katy in her arms and kissed her forehead gently. Leon walked in and smiled. “I'm never leaving her side.” Panthera says.
