A couple of days had passed and I was still furious at my dad. I don't call him that a lot, because he doesn't deserve that title. He's not the leader anymore, so he had no right to judge if Anna is good for the job or not. When Kate, Mario and Anna went home, I stayed back and had a friendly talk with Alberto. (my father) I told him to stay away from my mafia and me. Of course, I know he's not going to follow that rule, because well, he's Alberto Balotelli. We don't follow any rules, but our own.

I get a phone call from Mario so I answered it. "Boss, we got information from a good source. They told us that Raniero supposedly ordered guns and other stuff, and he's getting it today. We should go and intercept." Mario explained. I started smirking. We had very good contacts that tell us Raniero's every move. "Ok, this will be Anna's first mission," I said. "Are you sure Boss? Don't you think she needs a bit more work?" He asked. "No, I've been training her every day since we came back," I answered. "Ok, I'll round up the group and we'll be at the door in half an hour." He spoke.

I declined the call and returned my focus on the paperwork in front of me. Five minutes later, I heard a knock on my office door. "Come in," I said annoyingly. The door opened and revealed Anna. This better be important because I still have a lot of paperwork to do. She stood by the door. "Um, Lorenzo. I can't go on the mission. I don't think I'm ready." She nervously spoke. I had a suspicion that that would be what she came here to say. "I've been training you for a few days now, I think you're more than ready. Your skill with throwing knives is beyond perfect." I answered. She started biting her nails and I could tell she was nervous. "You're not going to get kidnapped, and I promise you won't die," I spoke. Anna nodded and headed out of the room. I once again brought my attention back to the paperwork and hoped to get it finished this time.

~Anna~

Kate told me to go to her room so she could pick out an outfit for me to wear. I didn't know what she meant. This isn't a party, so why do I have to look decent? I knocked on her door, and she sang the words, come in. I walked in and she had laid a few outfits on her bed. All of the outfits were all black. "Why do I need these clothes?" I asked. "Cause, you're going on a mission and you need to wear black. I know you are a very colourful person and probably don't own anything black except for leggings. She was right. Everything I own is colourful. I think I wear colourful because I know deep down, I'm not but I wish I was. I guess since Dad died, I hadn't been colourful, and maybe I never will be.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when Kate threw a pair of clothes at me. "Why did you do that?" I asked. "Because you were daydreaming. Now go in my bathroom and try the first outfit on!" She beamed. I took the clothes and made my way to the bathroom. Kate's bathroom was like nothing I had seen before. It was very colourful, which I didn't expect. I put on black Nike leggings, with a black oversized hoodie. This outfit was ok, but it was really hot in Rome at the moment, and I think if I wore this I would faint.

I walked out of the bathroom and she looked at me. "The leggings yes, the oversized hoodie no." She told me. I nodded and she threw me a shirt. "Can you stop throwing clothes at me?" I asked, laughing. "Hmm, how about no. Go put on that shirt!" She replied. I chuckled and went back to the bathroom. I put on the shirt and it was a black crop top that says, New York. I liked this. I walked out and Kate jumped up. "Yep, this is it." She smiled.

We heard a knock and the door, and Kate and I said come in, in unison. Mario walked in. "We need to leave now," he told me. I looked at Kate nervously. "You'll be fine A. We'll be in contact, ok?" She said as she put something in my ear. I nodded and smiled. I walked downstairs to the car with Mario. "Here." He said, handing me a gun. I took it and I entered the car. Lorenzo was already inside, so I was expecting him to say how I'm late, but he surprisingly kept his eyes on his phone.

We drove in silence until we reached the destination. "So, Anna just stay by me." He spoke. I nodded and was quietly exited the car. Immediately Mario and Lorenzo ran to the side of the building so I followed. Lorenzo peaked his head in and nodded to his men and they swarmed inside. I heard gunshot after gunshot. We quickly followed in after them. I did what I was told and stuck with Lorenzo. He shot many people in the knee, while I stood wondering when I would get to do something. "What are we even trying to get?" I asked. He didn't respond. I guess you're not supposed to talk during a mission but I was very eager to know.

"What-?" I was cut off when Lorenzo shot another guy in the knee. "This is too easy." He mumbled. "You just talked!" I shouted quietly. He glared at me. After that, I remained quiet, and let Lorenzo do the job.

We walked up to this big box. He put his head down to the ground to ensure there wasn't a bomb inside, I think. When he went to open it, I saw a man standing right behind Lorenzo with a gun to his head. I got terrified, so I raised my gun and put it off safe mode. If I shot him in the knee, he would still easily be able to use the gun. I think. So, I did the first thing I thought of.

My hands were shaking. When I pulled the trigger, I stood still in shock. Lorenzo jumped up and saw the dead man behind him. He then turned to me and saw the look on my face. I wasn't moving. I wasn't talking, crying, laughing. I was just stood there in silence. "Are you okay?" He asked. I didn't answer. "I just killed someone," I mumbled. I started shaking my head and crying. "I JUST KILLED SOMEONE!" I shouted. Lorenzo started walking towards me and I backed away. "No! Don't come near me! I'm a killer!" I said. He stopped. He didn't move any closer.

My heart was beating rapidly, and I was shaking. All of a sudden, I felt dizzy. My vision started blurring, and then everything went black.
