I groaned as my alarm went off. I had put in on snooze two times already, so I decided to get out of bed. I took a change of clothes into a bathroom. I decided I was going to wash my hair this morning.I wore a white skirt, with a collar grey sweatshirt with the word California in block letters, in the middle. I blow-dried my hair and styled my hair by curling it. I put on my custom air force 1's and grabbed my pink handbag.
Today was the first day I was leaving my room in days. I walked out and went to Kate's room. I knocked multiple times but heard no answer so I barged in.
Kate lay there still sleeping. I grabbed a pillow that had fallen off the bed and started hitting her. When I saw she had opened her eyes I stopped. "WAKE UP KATE!" I shouted. She turned onto her back and looked at me with squinted eyes.
"What time is it?" She asked. "That doesn't matter. Wake up, we've got things to do." I spoke. She looked at her phone and looked like she had seen something horrid.
"What?" I asked. "It's 6 am Anna." She said. I looked at her confusedly. "No, it's 10 am, I said my alarm." I talked. She gave me her phone and she was right, it was 6 in the morning. "Sorry, I set my alarm for the wrong time," I told her.
"I might as well wake up now." She sighed. I smiled, "I'll be downstairs. I'm going to convince the cooks to let me make breakfast." I said. She laughed, and I exited her room
I decided I wanted to use the elevator instead of using the stairs. Mario was also going to the elevator at the same time.
"Do you want to use it? I can wait." He asked. "We can both use it," I suggested.
I knew Mario wanted me to have my space, but after finding out he didn't tell one of the guards to kill Caden, I owed him a big apology.
"Mario, I wanted to apologies." I started. He turned me so I knew I had his full attention. "Lorenzo told me he was the one who told the guard to shoot. I know you didn't." I explained.
"I'm so sorry Anna. I lied to you, but I needed to." He said.
"I know," I answered.
"Do you want to come with Kate and me?" I asked.
"Yeah, where are you going?" He questioned.
"I'm not sure, I just need to get out of this house," I said.
I saw Mario's face sadden all of a sudden. "We can't go Anna." He spoke. I looked at him confusedly, and then it clicked. I'm still a 'target.' "Mario, please. You're coming, so it should be fine. I'm not afraid of Leonardo." I talked. Mario didn't talk for a few minutes, probably debating whether to say yes.
"I'll talk to Lorenzo." He sighed.
"Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!" I said and hugged him.
"No problem." He laughed.
